BELFAST Belfast has fun and historical bars, that are definitely worth checking out. @TourismIrelandStories #IrelandHomeofHalloween #LoveIreland BEST BARS IN

Tried to order drinks for at least 30 minutes, we asked the waitress to clean the table for 3 times, here goes pictures of our table (we just had 2 drinks), still dirty, we gave up to eat, just ordered a gin with blueberries and a pint, ONLY after the bartender gave me the drink, when I asked where were the blueberries he said there they didn’t have it blueberries. If there wasn’t any blueberry, why sell drinks with blueberries and tell the customer JUST because I asked? It was fine, I had the drink, but when I was going to pay and told the staff I was going to pay a gin with lemon only (because that was what I received) the bartender went to my table saying: “you are going to pay for this gin because you drank it and I told you there was no blueberry”! Terrible service! We waited 30 min to order drinks, didn’t have any food, our table was dirty until the end and I had to pay for something that I didn’t have, because the barman was rude and came with a threatening posture!

In the area yesterday (Friday) over from South Devon in England with a couple of mates ahead of the Crusaders v Linfield football match today. The plan was to have a Guinness in each bar we visited until it was time to get back to our accommodation to watch the England game on TV. Had one in The Points, one in Filthy McNasty's, one in Wetherspoon's then wandered around the corner and found what we had been looking for. I instantly liked the vibe in the place. Service was great from the bar staff, something that was lacking in our previous hostelries. We didn't eat, but the food on the nearby tables looked good. Music was just starting (5pm) and solo artist Micko was excellent. Liked it so much we stopped for three each! We will definitely be returning tonight. Can highly recommend. 🎶 🍺🍺🍺🎵

Came in to order some food and drinks and watch the football. Went up at half time to pay and enquired about student discount that was advertised, and was told yes that I could get it after presenting my student id. The server took a good few minutes at the till which I assumed was sorting the discount, but upon paying and seeing the receipt I realised the discount wasn't added. I asked another waiter could it be looked at as I was charged full price.

About 15 minutes later I was given cash as the difference, even though I paid by card. I advised that I would prefer a card refund as I don't use cash and I paid for card so the money needs to go back to my card. A man came down who I assume was management and was extremely rude to me, he said they don't do card refunds and that they don't have to give student discount, even though it's clearly advertised. He then said he didn't even see my student card, so I offered to show him and he said no he didn't want to see it. He then said I was getting cash and that's it and walked away.

I obviously got the difference of the money which is the main thing, and to be honest I didn't care so much about the money, it was the service of trying to pay, them offering student discount and not knowing how to apply it, and then the rudeness of management. A card transaction should be refunded to the card being paid, any POS system is capable of this, the man just decided that he would be rude for absolutely no reason....

Great atmosphere, great food. This place never fails to impress. The food is always top notch, and well presented. The staff and very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Sunday carvery is excellent, and they even do a carryout and delivery service, which is just as good as the meals served on premises. We had a large order of roast carvery dinners to take out, both roast beef and turkey and ham. The meals were if a very high standard, well presented in foil containers. The portion size was very generous, and the selection of vegetables (cooked beautifully) was very good, the creamed potatoes were rich and had great flavour, the roast potatoes were very tasty, clearly freshly made with a wonderfully crisp outer and perfectly cooked, soft centre. The meals were served with gravy, and extra portions of gravy were provided for those who desired more. The roast beef was cooked to perfection, with great flavour from a seared outer and a beautifully tender melt in the mouth centre. Very generously sized yorkshire puddings were separately wrapped. The turkey and ham portion was moist with a fantastic flavour, and served with a delicious stuffing. These meals are very impressive carryout food, and are reasonably priced for the quality and generous...
