Oregano — Restaurant in Belfast

All I can say is Waow! You can barely find a Greek restaurant in Belfast never mind a good one. The food here was incredible and authentic made by an actual Greek chef. It is what it says, traditional Greek street food. The food was fresh, the meat was cooked to perfection, the salads and sauces were fresh. The tzatziki was great. We ordered mixed grills, chicken and pork souvlaki, chicken gyros and loukomades. The staff were lovely and friendly. Ok there was a fairly long wait but it was worth it. The store has only opened for two days of course there are teething problems. It Would have been far worse if the food was horrible but it was far from it. VERY reasonably priced. Ordered delivery from their app. Unfortunately it was an hour and 30 minutes late. The food was amazing, however. Really tasty and packed full of flavour. When it arrived to me, it was still slightly warm but I assume getting it straight from the restaurant itself would be better.

Update: I have decided to amend my review after ordering from them again. Once again, I ordered delivery from their app but this time, the food arrived in just under 40 minutes. As before, the food was an excellent quality and immensely flavourful. I've updated my score to 4 stars. If I could do 4.5, I would.

Went and ordered in shop, staff were lovely and lovely atmosphere, heard loads of good things and read loads of reviews so couldn't wait to try. Got the shared platter, the dips were unreal, had the garlic and chilli and chilli cheese perfect balance and flavours,

The two parcels of meat were fatty, nice flavour but tough and couldn't eat,

Chips were nice, salad was covered with oil, which made it very oily and greasy to eat,

dough balls with sauce... were okay, nice when you got a soft Doagh ball, but most were very hard and couldn't eat Honestly disappointed, really looked forward to the experience and what everyone talks about but unfortunately didn't get that level of food and satisfaction...
