Wish I could give less than one star
Living on the shankill I've always known this branch of KFC is not on the same standard as other branches however is local so would attend here the odd time I get a KFC.
Service is usually slow and reading other reviews a lot of gripe about the young unfriendly staff however my experience today I was served by the manager himself
I went through the drive through which thankfully nobody else was in so didn't have the usual extensive wait. The manager spoke on the intercom to take our order which was; One chicken salad box with zinger chicken not fillet one kids meal with pop corn chicken a side of sweet corn a drink and ice cream one kids meal with chicken strips a drink and ice cream
The manager kindly reminded me that to receive a corn it would be substituted for the chips which I said yes that's fine thank you I'll take the corn then instead of the chips (the corn being the only thing on the whole order my son eats)
There was then an awkward wait while the manager had a discussion with staff for at least 2 minutes trying to figure out how he orders the salad box and repeatedly telling me "I can't find it" I then clarified that the manager heard my order for the salad box and that I wanted the zinger chicken not the gillet and he replied no I didn't know that's what you wanted ...
Finally around to receive our food and returned home which is 2 minutes away
Got home to find out that despite the whole conversation about the corn being substituted for the chips surprise surprise no corn in the box so my son went without.
Basically the above I would say to be a bad customer experience if it was a new inexperienced member of staff dealing with me eal the fact that this was the branch manager that served me who I assume is responsible for training staff is shocking... Didn't even both going back to have order corrected but won't be back.

Read moreI usually wait forever to speak in the intercom at the Drive Thru as the service is slow. So I decided to drive to window as there was 1 car. The employee opened window says I would have to drive around again, I said but sure why can you not take it here, she said drive around or youll be getting nothing. A second employee came I says I usually be waiting 5 to 10 mins at the intercom why can you not take it at the window as KFC yorkgate can and do. They both started giggling at me and said we follow the rules again then laughed at me again. A third employee came he was cheeky and demanded I drive around or ill leave the premises. So I decided to drive around order, came back at the window the 1st employee again starting laughing at me, I asked why she was laughing at me she then she closed the window. The 3rd employee then came to window more less threw the order at me and slammed the window.
The staff at this KFC are usually brilliant at customer service. It has went down hill, the management either doesn't know or they agree how these staff react to the Members...
Read moreI am absolutely disguised at the service in this kfc (Shankill Rd). Not only were the children working behind the counter half awake they also were clueless. After they give my order to someone else and I had to get the staff member to chase after our food I discovered my order was wrong. When I asked for it to be changed it was left sitting on counter for me to have to continuously ask for it to get changed. 10 mins later I was told it would be another 20 minutes wait for chicken so I asked for a refund.
