The Bethany — Restaurant in Belfast

Called in yesterday 19th Feb at 4.30pm, ordered chicken goujons and garlic dip. Took a while as they were being cooked from scratch but while I was waiting I could hear all this farting and spluttering which I now realise was the girl emptying all the ends of all the garlic dip bottles that had been sitting out all day into the dip I was getting with my meal. Ate the goujons on my way home, thought the dip was a bit runny, got home and threw my ring up just as I got through my front door. So thank you for that and for having to clean it up while being excruciatingly Ill was an added treat. 8 quid for 4 strips of chicken and not even a couple of chips is a rip off. Called in today and asked for a pastie bap. There were 3 pasties cooked and sitting ready to be used. A few people in front of me all waiting on fish or chicken so I thought the pasties are ready I will only be a few mins, nearly 20 mins later I was served. I had to wait until everyone else was served even though none of them didn’t want pasties. The girl frying had been out last night and she proceeded to tell everyone that she was still drunk from last night and also went over the cocotion of drinks she had. She could hardly keep her eyes open and most certainly shouldn’t have been in charge of frying. No apologies for the wait even though there had been no need to and not even a please or a thankyou from the girl serving.Appalling service...

The Bethany is now a laugh at its carryout service to the paying public. I queued outside for 25 minutes to reach the entrance door, when two persons walked in and ordered their food. Being confused I asked how they were getting served. Apparently if you phone in your order and it's not ready made up, you then order to get served in front of the public queuing outside. The server ignored my suggestion that if I phoned my order in would I get served next?, and he wasn't happy at me saying that he was not working at speed to clear the backlog..
