The Newton Cafe / Brunch Bar — Restaurant in Belfast

Lived right next to this wee place for years but never eaten from it before. Took a notion for a filled soda this morning and called in.

I have to say this was honestly one of the best sodas I've had in a long long time. Its surprisingly hard to get a soda made right, with eggs done perfect. A lot of places the soda is bone dry and the eggs overcooked. Not here, it was magic. The two ladies staffing the counter were great and very polite.

Would absolutely recommend if you've got a notion for a fry or filled soda. I think this will be my new go to...

I used to like the food from here but nowadays it's always either burnt or soggy. Grease trap. Last 4 times I've been it's been a total waste of money. Hygiene is completely out the window in this place now. Personally witnessed cleaning fluids being sprayed on a wall directly behind where they were frying my order. This is totally UNACCEPTABLE as this could have led to serious harm. I WONT...

Got delivery food arrived looked good, took a bite and pulled long black hair out of my mouth. Opened the soda to find a few more hairs. Contacted the business to get told that they can't do anything about it cause they were closed at this point apparently. I was understandably annoyed cause this cost 11.50...
