This is not JUST the only pub left on the lower NEWTOWNARDS rd but the BEST PUB IN NORTHERN IRELAND BY A MILE IT IS FAMILY RUN AND THEY LOOK AFTER THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE ON A MONDAY ITS ONLY £2-50 FOR A PINT OR A WHISKEY OR ANYOTHER SPIRIT AND WHEN THERES FOOTBALL ON THE BOX THEY BRING IN SOUP AND SANDWICHES FREE TO ALL AND SOMETIMES BRING STEW YES THIS IS ALSO FAMILY ORANTADED THREW OUT THE OPENING TIMES AND HE STEVEN THE OWNER GIVES TO THE COMMUNITY SO THAT KIDS IN THE AREA HAVE A GOOD TIME YES BEEN GOING HERE FOR THE LAST 51YEARS AND ALOUGH I LIVE IN THE FAR SIDE OF THIS CITY I STILL VISIT WHEN ABLE AS I HAVE MEDICAL PROBLEMS WHEN I DO GET OVER THERES A BOOKIES BESIDE THE PUB WHICH MEANS I CAN DO A LITTLE BET AND HAVE A LAUGH WITH MY FRIENDS WHOM I HAVE ALSO KNOWN OVER 50YEARS I ONLY DRINK FANTA ORANGE AS I DRIVE OVER WHEN I DO GET BUSES OVER THEN AND ONLY THEN CAN I GET ONE OF THEM £2-50 PINTS IF I GO OVER ON A MONDAY IT USED TO BE TUESDAY FOR THE £2-50 A PINT BUT DAYS WERE CHANGED TO SUIT THE REGULARS WHICH IS CORRECT AS THEY ARE THE ONES SPENDING THE MOST...
