I quite liked the place. They have a unique taste of their own, swapping out chips for wedges, and are Canadian. What pulled me to this place even more, was their variety of food on their menu, and also the fact that they had plenty of vegetarian and vegans options. That was my first experience. I would give it 4.5 stars the first time, but the second time I visited it (today) really put me off. When we got to the place, we decided to get some doughnuts 🍩 The menu on the top said that the doughnuts on the top were 6.99 and all of the other prices. But when we got to the till and paid, it was a lot more expensive than it seemed to be. We did the maths in our head, and the place was actually making us pay about 5 pounds extra, than the actual price. We asked them why their menu prices were different to what they were making us pay, and they said that the menu was, in fact, BROKEN, and that they had been waiting for months to get it fixed. WHAT SORT OF COMPANY DOES THAT?! I mean, I get it and all, but they have not told their customers, that the menu was broken. In fact, it didn't even look broken, and I think they were deliberately lying to us. They put the prices down to a price which the customers were happy with, and made them pay extra WITHOUT THEM EVEN NOTICING. I am very disappointed in it, and we ended up waiting for 10 minutes to get the whole thing cleared. We tried to record it to see what sort of a nuisance Tim Horton expects their customers to put up with, however the staff walked away, and didn't want the world to know they had been scamming them the whole time. There was a huge queue behind us, but we weren't leaving until we got this sorted with. We thankfully managed to get a full refund, however we were still quite disappointed in them. We placed an order via deliveroo and when it arrived the rider had spilled an entire drink over our order, handed the order and empty drink to us and then proceeded to throw his trash outside our shop and tell us we needed to take it up with Tim hortons (even though it was evidently not their fault at all) so we contacted tim hortons anyway and we spoke with Nicole, honestly she was amazing even though it wasn't their fault she went above and beyond to fix it for us and went out of her way to get the driver to come back with a fresh order that she had carefully wrapped up in cling film and wrote us a little note with some complimentary donuts. She was so kind and helpful for something that wasn't even her responsibility but still done everything she could to make it right and even phoned me afterwards to make sure the order arrived and everything was okay. Read moreI am so disappointed in this place! I was so happy about Tim Hortons coming to Belfast and the first few times it was great. Then my husband and I went in for breakfast one Sunday morning, we were the only customers in the whole shop. We could on find one table to get a seat because every table and seat was dirty! I said nicely to the behind the girl counter and she went and stood out the back for 10 minutes then came and stood behind the counter again. I complained to Tim Hortons by email, to no avail that was about 6 months ago! Then I thought I would try the drive thru. I ordered a Boston cream and a vanilla latte. The guy just couldn't get it, I work in catering so I do have patience for new starters, but he asked me so many questions and after I answered each question asked he asked me to repeat my order again and again.
