No excuses. Half an hour to spare and one of Mere Green's latest additions had just opened as I was walking passed. Doesn't feel as small as it looks from outside - not quite the Tardis, but good use of space. The beers available are clearly marked up on on a blackboard, so I choose a half of the New Normal. Didn't even to ask if I could have a taster first, as this was offered. Beer excellent, and having suffered Ozzie prices for the last three months, good value. The Homely Hub, we have been regulars here almost since they opened, love the great variety of beers, especially the regular Butty Bach! There is always a nice friendly buzz about the place and amazing how many people you bump into that you know and also people that you didn't know but now you do! Dog friendly too, so a good excuse for walking the dog! So much better than the larger dark impersonal establishments! We went on Saturday evening for pre-dinner cocktails (as we have done many times before). However, the till was 'down', so the team apparently couldn't serve drinks. We suggested doing it the old fashioned way and serving the drinks, adding it up and us paying cash but that wasn't possible!?!
