This small Indian restaurant on Mere Green Rd is long established. The interior is only small and thus a bit cramped but clean and comfortable. Very comprehensive menu with no starter more than £4 and all main courses under £9. Though rice etc is extra. Three varieties of bottled beers and small wine list. The Shimla has been open for about 26 years and has built up a large loyal customer base over this period which is one of the reasons it has survived through these difficult times since the pandemic started. Food & Service is the best in the area (in my opinion). First time I have been there as usually go to one in Sutton Town. This will now be the only place I go. The staff are so polite and friendly.
