We were on a visit to Birmingham and this newly opened place had come highly recommended. Bakeville stands as a beacon of warmth and deliciousness. Upon entering, the aroma of superb barista coffee greets you, promising a cup that's crafted to perfection. The highlight, however, is their **chocolate ganache**. It's a velvety masterpiece, rich and indulgent, yet not overpowering. Each bite is a testament to the love and care poured into their home-made cakes. These aren't just desserts; they're edible works of art. Behind this culinary haven are the delightful owners, Parveiz and Fahmida, whose passion for baking and hospitality is evident in every detail. Their commitment to quality is unmatched, ensuring that every cake, pastry, and sandwich is a memorable treat. Whether you're seeking a cozy corner for a coffee break or a celebratory cake that's sure to impress, I can assure you Bakeville is the go-to destination. It's more than just a coffee shop; it's a community hub where every patron leaves a little happier and a lot more satisfied.

I had such a great experience at Bakeville near Fox and Goose! The food was absolutely delicious — I tried the hot chocolate, a blondie, and a tomato, cheese, and pesto sandwich, and everything was perfect. The sandwich was fresh, and the blondie was the perfect balance of sweet and rich. It’s also amazing that everything here is halal, which made my meal even better! The place itself is so clean and has an Instagram-worthy aesthetic, perfect for taking pictures while you enjoy your food. I didn’t have to wait long for my order either, which was great. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

My friends and i went here as the reviews seemed promising and it definetly didnt disappoint. We ordered the hot chocolate, red velvet cake and chocolate ganache cake. The cake slices were a generous size and out of the two the red velvet impressed us the most. It was moist and not too sickly which is where most cakes fail. Hot chocolate was also very nice with plenty of froth. Decor was cosy and made the experience even better. Only critique is providing more pastry options but overall wonderful place would highly recommend to anyone reading this.

Another trip to the West Midlands with family and we decided to visit Bakeville Cafe after hearing good things - it's well set out (they moved a couple of tables to accommodate us) and has a welcoming atmosphere with polite and courteous staff. I had a nice chicken melt with a refreshing strawberry mojito but the main reason for visiting was the desserts.

I had the chocolate ganache cake and had nibbles of quite a few other desserts from the kids - I absolutely loved the chocolate ganache but I also loved the sample of lotus cake I tried. I finished that visit off with a really nice caramel latte (miles better than the rubbish served at Costa and Starbucks) and the prefect brownie - crumbly at the top a little gooey/fudgey underneath.

I was so impressed, I took another coffee for the drive home and a pistachio milk cake for dessert the next day - it was comparable to the brilliant but expensive milk cake I had in Home Bakery Dubai (although I've come to realise, I don't like Rose petals under my teeth).

Needless to say, I've been back since and tried the NY cookie (must try), Victoria sponge and a scone, all very good - it's a good job it's miles away and we only visit a few times a year or I'd be obese and diabetic... You can't beat a home baked cake with a really...

I would give this place 0 if I could. The customer service is the most terrible service I have ever seen in my life, the lady that works there doesn’t even face you when she’s serving you or when you’re speaking to her, she had her back to us the whole time while she’s preparing a drink and doesn’t even bother to give us the time of the day, almost like she’s not interested and doesn’t want us there, why are you working there if you don’t want to serve customers? there was another girl there standing in the corner didn’t step in to serve us or anything just staring at us the whole time looking at us up and down. Very rude spoken and no manners nor professionalism at least. We are humans and we deserve respect you look at someone and you don’t turn your back on them while they are trying to speak to you. This was the first time my sister and I came in to this place we wanted to try out and had the worst first impression! never have this happened in any other cafe or food place before, very strange and weird behaviour. We tried our best and we left after a few minutes of being ignored and spoken to that way. Absolutely ridiculous, how can this be a 5 star place when you’re talking to...
