Been going for many years but not any more was served my food and when I went to eat it I nearly broke my tooth on what I can only put it as concrete yes in my mouth asked what is this and then the guy said it's off the side of the tandoor where the nan bread is cooked he went on to say it's over 30 years old and needs replacing but said the gaffer won't change it .then said its not the first time it's happened .so I asked the manager why he is serving customers from a broken tandoor he said it won't kill you are young you will be ok it happens all the time we will check it next time do you want another one I said no are you mad you can keep it i refused to pay and left I won't be going back ! Don't like the way they go on any how I asked him one day so what do you like on the menu and he laugh and said I don't eat that that is not what I eat that is commercial curry it's not what we eat . Unfortunately after ordering I had to wait 2 hours before the food turned up. Not great and in all fairness not reasonable. I called after waiting patiently for an hour and a half and asked where my food was and was told the delivery driver had left and would be with me in 5 minutes, nearly 30 minutes later he turned up, In a bow tie and waste coat, NOT a delivery driver but the waiter from the restaurant. I do not apriciate being lied to! I turned the waiter away as ordered from my usual place. He then tried to barter with me on price to ensure I still took the food. Even the other staff that was with me was baffled and felt very uncomfortable with the situation. Eventually, I did receive an apology; however, this was not from the man who was rude. This came from another man who felt embarrassed and disgusted by his managers actions. I appreciated the attempt of an apology, but was unsatisfied as this was not from the manager himself. Knowing his position of power, I found this cowardly and childish. Although I was content with the food, the service and the overall handling of this situation has left a bad taste in my mouth.
