Big John's Kingstanding — Restaurant in Birmingham

Hello, today at 1 p.m. I ordered 2 sets for 3 f, one with chicken mayo burger, the other with wings, in my wings I found plastic foil embedded in the breading. At 4 o'clock I returned to the premises to get a refund for one set which I threw in the trash. I showed the staff photos of food with foil and I wanted a refund of my 3 pounds, I was refused, I was offered the same food again, but I'm disgusted to eat at this place from now on, the boy who was working in the kitchen at 1 o'clock was standing at the cash register at 4 o'clock and laughed at me when I asked about the manager, I asked for his name, he refused to give it to me for the first time in my life, I encountered such rudeness, the same guy didn't see anything wrong with my order despite the photos shown, he told me to come to the manager on Monday and for obvious reasons I won't go there especially after 3 f I demand that this employee be immediately dismissed from work, otherwise I am submitting an application to the council and relevant services to inspect this premises, the worst branch I have ever been to, I am very dissatisfied with the food, occupational hygiene, and the staff working there. I intend to leave negative opinions on every possible website. and report...

I haven't been to a Big John's for a few years and I doubt I'll ever be back again. I was feeling peckish and the cafe over the road had already closed so I thought I'd give it a go. Big mistake.

The lady taking orders was pleasant but the food was dire. The chips had a consistency akin to being made yesterday and just heated up. They were weirdly hard on the outside while being brittle and powdery on the inside.

The chicken wings were room temperature despite the shop having only just opened. They were also tiny, with very little cold, dry meat.

The pizza slice looked good but had a strange off taste, I didn't enjoy it. Then the curry sauce, it had the consistency of water, very runny and flavourless. It had been watered down to within an inch of its life. It was just yellow water. Also the vinegar on the chips was also watered down to the point of being completely flavourless.

If I were starving and this was the only food available to me, I'd wander off into the woods and die rather than eat it again. I threw it all in the bin and felt bad...

Avoid if you want to eat what you ordered within the time frame stated when ordering online. Ordered on just eat and received a phone call 5 mins after the delivery time had past. Stating the delivery driver had delivered to the wrong house and fresh food was being made and would be with us within 10 mins. 50 mins later he turned up missing the drinks and sauce. Opened the box and found out a meal was missing. Called them back and was told they would delivery double tomorrow, like we aren't hungry today and haven't paid for it today so we can eat it today. Said it was someone's meal and that is was not acceptable. We ordered around 6.40 and finally ate at 9.30! It is not acceptable and we shall not be spending any more money...
