Burger Boi (Sutton Coldfield) — Restaurant in Birmingham

We put in a order for a click and collect. After 35 mins we hadn't heard if it was ready so went to the store where we were greeted by the girl assistant AFTER she finished talking to her friend! Terrible attitude when we asked about our order which she said was just ready but still no text to say ready. We had to ask for the drink which she got a colleague to pass her as she obviously couldn't be bothered to stop talking to her friend and get it for us. We knew straight away the food wasn't "just" ready as grease was showing on the outside of the thick take out bag! Once home the food was cold so disappointed. The onion strips were congealed together from the amount of oil that was in the box and this was the oil that had leaked. All the food was cold, the burgers may have been tasty if again they were so cold and the mac and cheese was tasteless. The only thing you can honestly say was tasty in our order was the halloumi fries and the kids burger had a bit too much heat for our little one. Not sure what we are more disappointed with the - the food or the service but would not order...

Excited to try this place as it was new, ordered by delivery from Uber. Delivery was around 15mins later than stated, Uber driver banged on the door and woke up baby. Despite specifying to knock lightly. Upon opening order, it looked ok and was really excited, but everything was SO messy, sauce was everywhere. I had the chilli cheese burger, it was super hot, but generally ok, not bad. I had this with the veggie fries, and they were soiled in sauce, it was inedible as it was delivered they were all soggy and sauce was everywhere. Husband had the buffalo Boi, he enjoyed it, but too much sauce with the Bad Boi fries and it was also soaked in sauce. We both didn’t finish our meals as we were put off by how much sauce was covered the food. Overall really disappointed, open to trying again. But would just order the standard burger and plain fries. The food did arrive hot and the food tasted ok, but we were really put off by so much sauce. The price I would say was quite expensive for a take-away, it came to £38 without the discount code, but luckily Uber had an offer on and it was £24...

While I was dining at your restaurant recently, I witnessed a very concerning incident that I feel compelled to report. I was quietly enjoying my meal when a chef, who appeared to be part of the kitchen staff, began shouting very loudly at a young girl working at the till. His tone was aggressive and the volume of his voice was so loud that it disrupted not only my experience but clearly made the young staff member visibly uncomfortable and upset. She appeared to be doing her best, and it was disheartening to see someone so young being spoken to in such a harsh and unprofessional manner in front of both customers and other staff. This kind of behaviour, especially in a public setting, is completely inappropriate and reflects poorly on the establishment. I hope you will take this matter seriously and consider taking appropriate disciplinary action to ensure a safer and more respectful working environment...
