AVOID COMING HERE AT ALL COSTS!!!

RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, CONFRONTATIONAL AND AN EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE ALMOST A VIOLENT MANAGER WITH SERIOUS ANGER ISSUES WORKING AT THIS PLACE TARGETING AND CONFRONTING WOMEN INCLUDING ONE UNDER 18 WHO WAS MY DAUGHTER AND ALL BECAUSE WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF THE CAKES WHICH WERE DRY AND TASTELESS AND ASKED FOR A REDUND !! HE IS LUCKY THAT I DID NOT CALL THE POLICE AS HE MADE ME AND MY YOUNG DAUGHTER VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! I KEPT TELLING HIM TO STOP BUT HE DID NOT LISTEN TO ME, THE CUSTOMER !!!!!!

Msg to the owner : Please watch today’s camera footage (23/11 approx 4.30pm) and you will know exactly what I’m talking about !!!! Also watch what the customers by the till are saying to the waiters as they were sticking up for us and agreeing that the Manager was out of order with his aggressive behaviour towards us, two women !!!! The lovely couple with their little baby remained outside until we left the cafe and asked us if we were okay or not as they could tell we were shaken up by the incident in the way the manager behaved towards us. I felt terrible that my young daughter had to witness all this too.

Please also note that my daughter retuned the money for the cakes in cash which was refunded to me when I first complained about the cakes. We will never step inside this awful place ever again!!’

PLEASE SEND THE MANAGER ON AN ANGER MANAGEMENT COURSE ASAP!!!!!!

So as clearly stated on google, they close at 5pm, i took a 20min drive to colanzo, i arrived at 4:12pm, as i walked in on the window it stated VERY CLEARLY last order at 4:30pm for dine in. To my surprise when i went inside i was spoken to in a very rude manner by what i can only assume is the owner that the kitchen is closed and only the cakes on display are available. I did try to voice that it does 4.30 and that we did have a drive to get there, i was pretty given a shrug of a shoulder and offered cakes once again. Its massively disappointing to be treated in a manner, its understandable if there is a kitchen issue or your unable to offer a service but the way i was spoken to in front of my friends also, so i had to take another 20mins drive back and find somewhere else to eat, very bad service, false advertisement of opening times, and rude staff. A nice restaurant but the food was just average.

I ordered the avocado on toast with salmon, the toast was overdone and difficult to cut (I know it’s sourdough but i’ve never had sourdough that tough) and they were quite skimpy with the smashed avocado. The salmon was fine but not seasoned and also a bit brown ?

My friend ordered the avocado on toast with poached egg. The toast and avocado was the same, but her egg yolk was boiled lol.

Another friend ordered the french toast which was apparently 10/10 definitely recommend.

The chicken and cheese bagel and full english was meh but the panini was good. Overall drinks were ok, nothing to write home about.

For a cute, albeit small place, they had good customer service, and everything was clean and very aesthetic.

A nice spot for your insta brunch snaps if it’s a sunny day, but I wouldn’t go out of my way...
