Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Birmingham

Disgraceful attitude by the manager.

Brought my own, sealed, lactose-free milk (as I have to multiple Costas in the past) and was rudely told I cannot use it, after the two people I was with had already been served.

I then had to get a coffee from a competitor, but obviously came back into Costa as my friends had already ordered.

I was then rudely told I cannot consume this coffee in Costa, despite it entirely their own fault.

Great...

This is my local Costa but my least favourite when compared to other Costas I visit (Aldridge, Asda Minworth). The tables aren't cleaned often enough and the furniture is jaded. The soft furnishings are filthy (sofas and chairs). The owners need to invest in more staff, train them and supervise them properly and upgrade the interior. Otherwise they will lose business to Cafe Nero which has a good outside...

We went towards the end of the day and there were a number of dirty tables and the place looked a little messy and dirty. The coffee was standard for Costa Coffee.

I'd like to see more comfy seating, rather than wooden chairs. This place needs cleaning on a much more frequent basis, too.

I'd go again, but there are better and more well-kept coffee shops...
