I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dewok Pan Asian Restaurant with my partner and child, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and an incredibly accommodating staff who made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. The food was nothing short of outstanding. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into every bite. Whether you’re a fan of bold, spicy dishes or prefer something more mild, Dewok’s menu has something to delight every palate. What truly set the experience apart, however, was the service. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, making sure our drinks were topped up and that we had everything we needed. They even went out of their way to make sure our child felt special and included, which was a wonderful touch. I can confidently say that we’ll be coming back to Dewok Pan Asian Restaurant again and again. It’s rare to find a place that combines such incredible food with spectacular service in a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Now what can i say about this so-called new fusion establishment other than ... AVOID unless you dont mind being over-charged for sub standard food Now here's my verdict on this so-called influencer promoted eating venue. We've all seen them, not me but sadly my brother got duped into seeing these fake tik tok vids giving this place 10/10 so he coerced me into joining him, he even brainwashed his own daughter to frequent this place too. I felt gutted that another person had been dragged into all of this due to my brothers fixation with tik tok promotions - I dont think he realises that most of them and probably some of these 5* reviews are all sponsored in 1 form or another We went to visit Dewok on a tuesday night a couple of hours before closing. So the place was as you'd expect bereft of any other patrons. That didnt bode well for the rest of our evening. Dont get me started on the table that felt more like a rocking horse or a bucking bronco. Then the server came took our drinks order, and then we waited what felt an eternity. The drinks then arrived 3 Mojito's. The drinks did taste nice but it was basically soda with flavourings, nothing extra special bar the price tag associated with them. Later in the day my brother bought a £2 bottle of lemonade and that was a 10/10 experience for him for sure. Finally the starters arrived first came some some soup aka chicken stock broth lol. Nice chicken stock but was it worth £5? Then the actual starters which were some chicken honey strips (3 only), dragon wings (3 again) and some chicken lollipops (4 of them omg could they truly afford to give us that 33% extra - i felt they must've made a mistake so I got my niece to sink it down her promptly). So £18 less in our wallet for approx 3 items each was it worth the money? NO in simple terms. The honey strips were the highlight, nicely cooked and nice battered coating. The dragon wings were mild at best and the sauce wasnt anything worthwhile, the chicken was well cooked though. Finally the Chicken lollipops were basically chicken pieces mashed into a ball then fried, at least it was edible unlike the mains which were about to come to our table ... [since eating at Dewok we looked online and realised to our loss that we were short changed on the wings & strips as they serve 4 pieces but we only received 3 - yet paid for 4 pieces - so please be aware that this place does SCAM their customers] Main meals - Chicken Katsu Curry (mild - how do you make a mild katsu curry it needs to be medium at least), and 2 of the Dewok Loaded Chow Mein. Now where do I begin, the Katsu Curry, the chicken was nicely cooked & the batter was quite nice the curry however was mild and very weak at best. I am not sure if I should really describe the other main meal though but sadly I have to as I do not want others to experience such a nauseating sham of a meal. The meats all of them were so well done there wasn't any point even trying to enjoy the meal. Its fortunate I still have teeth but I am sure others who have dentures or are missing teeth would have been unable to chew & swallow what was on that plate. The beef was so over well done, the prawns were solid & the chicken was solid too. Fully loaded tough rubberised meats is what they should be calling it. And the noodles & sauce tasted more like some cheap Chinese takeaway meal. Due to the price of the meal & i was famished I gorged my way through the meats only did take me a while to chew on them though. At the end of the night the bill came, after picking myself of the floor with the shock of just how much it was paid we were given our 3 mint chocolates. Probably 1 of the highlights of our night. On leaving the premises my brother constantly looked back with fawning eyes to see if any of the waiters or waitresses were going to wish us a good bye & come back again, but his puppy dog eyes were still not enough to get them to look up & wish us well and to ask us to come back again. We left never to return again. Very poor experience

Disappointed! My friend had seen a tiktok foodie reviewer highly recommending this place. lol we are convinced these guys are paid to get us into these establishments! Slow service… Drinks took 15 mins to come out, starters (wings) 20mins and then the mains about 40 mins from ordering ! i mean beef takes 4mins max to cook! The restaurant wasn’t overly busy during the period we were there. The waiters also seemed to prioritise their friends over the customers. i asked one of the waiters to take my order, he said ok, he proceeded to go to another table and talk with them for 5 mins. It was 15mins before someone came over to take our order! The restaurant itself was cold, due to the faulty front door! We had to change table. Terrible drinks, worst drinks i’ve actually ever tasted. We had to send the one drink back and ask for a replacement, then again that drink was undrinkable. The mojito was simply lemonade with lemon slices, so that was drinkable but not worth £5.90! I actually felt it was haram, the prices we were charged! The waiter tried to sneakily add a side dish onto our order, i had to query if it was free. It was not free. My beef did taste good, the rice accompanying the beef was very bland! Chicken wings were all cooked with the same spices, but coated with a sickly amount of sauce. Minimal parking outside on the main road, but plenty of side road parking available.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dewok restaurant on Warwick Road, which boasts ample parking just around the corner. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was warmly greeted by a delightful waiter, whom I believe was named Gokul. His welcoming smile and the restaurant's stunning décor, which showcased an incredible eye for detail, set the stage for a night of exemplary dining. We started off with the chicken soup, a tantalizing creation brimming with flavor and expertly crafted. The chicken lollipop followed, its preparation and taste both hitting the mark beautifully. While the prawns were a bit too dressed in mayonnaise for my liking, the main course more than made up for it—a flawless combination of cod fried rice accompanied by a spicy king prawn hot sauce. The prices were quite fair, and the cozy ambiance complemented the fantastic service and culinary delights. To the team at Dewok, you've established a stellar establishment. Maintain this level of excellence, and there's no doubt you'll achieve enduring success.

I've just had a LOVELY meal at a brand new restaurant in Acocks Green called Dewok, it's a pan-Asian restaurant offering Chinese dishes with a broad Asian influence. My friend Sue and I shared whole, battered prawns on sesame toast which were delicious, then Sue had a mild but spiced chicken dish and I had crispy sweet and sour chilli beef, we both had rice and the single portions were just right, it was soooooooo nice! If you want, you can create your own wok stir fry dish, with a variety of fresh ingredients. The decor is lovely and the staff were very welcoming and warm. It's an alcohol free venue, (not that we cared) and currently does not offer deserts, but it is the loveliest meal I have had for a while and I can really recommend it for a smashing nosh. Opposite Aldi on the Warwick Road. Street parking all around, or Aldi might be ok across the road. The venue is spacious, beautiful and wheelchair friendly. We paid £34 for a two course meal. Lovely! We will definitely go again.

😁✅️✅️ Prayer area in the corner; Salaam cola; Nice mojitos; Lovely chicken lollipops; The rice was nice 😋; Clean cutlery; Ok service. 😦😦❌️ No tap water, was going to charge us for a large bottle of water for 1 person, when we only wanted a glass; Nearly charged us for the bill twice at the end 😲; Food was style over substance, too much sugar and very oily, lack of wholesome flavour; The chicken manchurian was a soup of sugar; Duck spring rolls had no duck, just thick oily gravy; Found HAIR in the food; NO kids portions or kids menu, told us to get a side dish, which is NOT a kids portions 🤨; They have coca cola AND salaam cola, like, what?? Maximising profits rather than morals. Icl, it was OK, but we would most definitely not come back. We would NOT recommend. The manager did give us the large bottle of water for free, as he "didn't want to ruin our evening", so thank you. But we believe it was a waste of water, and a way of squeezing money 💰 out of customers.
