Staff helpfulness is well above average. Items in stock availability is always pretty good. In fact I prefer the acocks green branch to all of the other morrisons I've been into. I am not a fan of the Coventry road branch at all.
The above review was written some years ago. Here's an update for April 2023. Service from counter staff still remains excellent. There are a few regular till staff ladies who are wonderful patient, hard working and resilient. And let's face it, you need to be all those yo work in a supermarket. Thank you for putting up with me ladies.
Now, what are the management doing. Why do you have to walk against the flow of customers to get a basket, why are walkways and entrances semi blocked by piles of seasonal products, and why are you obstructing the queue for self service with shopping trollies full of reduced items, why were the upright self service units never used after the first week yet they remain wasting valuable sales or checkout space 2 years later, why is at least 1 of the self service belted tills and one manned unit used for storage and why does the front of the store have seasonal garden compost bags obstructing the entrance and movement of people? Morrisons, you are making this store worse, not better. You need to stand for 30 minutes and watch how poorly footfall works...
Read moreJust express my disappointment with the customer service I experienced during my recent visit to your store.
I went in specifically to purchase BBQ briquettes, which I usually find stacked in the outbuilding near the entrance. On this occasion, the outbuilding door was closed. I approached a member of the so-called customer service team for assistance, but instead of checking, she pointed me in the wrong direction. After failing to find the product, I returned to ask again, only to be told dismissively: “If it’s not there, then we don’t have any.”
What frustrated me most was that she made no effort to actually check or walk the few steps it would have taken to confirm. When I mentioned that briquettes are normally in the outbuilding, her colleague simply said: “Well, if it’s closed then it’s closed, sorry.” Their attitude came across as rude, dismissive, and arrogant.
If the outbuilding is closed, why is the store open and advertising products that cannot be accessed? More importantly, why is customer service unwilling to assist customers properly?
This level of service is unacceptable, and it has left me questioning whether I should continue shopping at Morrisons. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I believe both training and attitude improvements are urgently needed...

I visited the store on 15th July at around 8:45pm and had a really uncomfortable experience at the self-checkout. One of the staff members on duty, a South Asian woman with long straight hair and heavy foundation and no name badge was rude and unhelpful
I asked if I could scan an item with a security tag at self checkout and she just shrugged and walked off to chat with her colleagues. I had to go over again to ask, thankfully one of the staff members she was chatting with was helpful and let me know that the tag would be removed at the end
When the original staff member eventually returned to take the tag off, she handed my item back with a straight look and no words. Her attitude throughout was awful and made the whole situation very uncomfortable
Someone like that shouldn’t be in a customer-facing role. I hope management checks the CCTV from that evening, her behaviour and body language were...
