This is the 2nd time I have ordered on deliveroo and the food has been nothing short of shocking. It even made me doubt that this quality of food is coming out of such a nicely decorated establishment which I have visited on a few occasions. I ordered a Caramel Chocolate tart and Lotus Biscoff Croffles. I received a phone call from them telling me that there were no caramel chocolate tarts in stock and that I could choose something else. So I did... and boy do I regret it. The monkey bread was the size of half my palm and instantly made me angry looking at it. I then braced myself and cut into it and was shocked to see layers of uncooked, soggy, almost vomit textured 'pastry'. To add insult to injury, they added 2 cubes of 'apples' and maybe half a teaspoon of some wet sticky almost jelly like sauce. I assume that was the apple sauce so proudly advertised on the menu. The Lotus biscoff Croffle was no better, the inside was soggy and very doughy and hardly edible with half crushed biscoff biscuits thrown lazily into the box. The sauce and toppings did not even touch the second croffle which was squashed into the box and looked like it had been half beaten or stood on. I should have known better and blame myself for ordering again having had a bad exprience previous to this. When thinking about what else to select from the menu, I asked the gentleman on the phone how the Apple crumble was made as it was soggy and tasted of wet trodded on sand the first time I had ordered. He proceeded to tell me that the Apple crumbles are kept in the freezer and taken out and MICROWAVED. Let that settle in.....Microwaved, not even ovened. Who in their right mind microwaves a crumble that is supposed to be crumbly and crunchy?! I was shocked, baffled and highly offended. For the prices being charged, please have the decency to provide desserts that are worth the price. Won't be ordering ever again.

This was our first visit to this branch. It was full but did not have to wait for long and got seated. The order was taken in reasonable time and then the ordeal started. We ordered: 1- Profiteroles 2- Vanilla with Rose and pistachios 3- 3@Cafe Latte with Caramel Shot 4- Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake 5- Watermelon mint Mojito All the waiters (3 or 4) seems to be lost, not knowing how to handle the crowd, going back snd forth between customer and Preparation team (6) and also helping them in preparing orders. It took around fifty minutes till we got our first order Cafe Latte which turned out to be wrong (no Caramel shot and cold) which we had to return back. Then we got the replacement but this time no Caramel and one cup is replaced with hot chocolate which we had to return again. On the third shot we got the correct drink after a long struggle. The waiter spilled the during and with all cups became dirty, but he did not even bothered to clean them and we had to ask for napkins to clean. But the worse of all, the waiter came holding hot beverage on top of our toddlers head not realizing that any spill will cause a serious burn to the child. We had to tell him to come around the other way. This really scared us off with a question mark of the customer safety. The rest came afterwards. The timeframe we spent was around two hours in which 45 minutes was a total waste. The general ambient of place and food is good is good (that why they got two stars) but they need to put down lightening which is too bright. Overall, it was not so good experience for this particular place and will see how other places will do.

Let’s start with customer service, pleasant and accommodating.. Went on a weekday late evening and it was quieter than usual I’m guessing as I’ve previously Hera show popular this place is however seemed quiet when my family and I turned up which was perfect as it gave us ample seating options without having to wait around. Lovely brother handed over the menus and the staff gave enough time to order rather than pestering whether we’ve decided what we’d have. A sweet lady took out prder which I’ve added pictures of. Lovely desserts, portions aren’t crazy however I’ve had more on the plate when it came to a cookie dough for the price paid in other dessert places similar to this one nonetheless it was scrumptious. The karak chai wasn’t a favourite as it had an overpowering cinnamon taste to it and slightly watered down is what I think it was because I couldn’t seem to taste the ‘karak’ part of it. Our hot chocolate fell- however before it did the taste was nice and light how I like it whenever I do have it but my niece wasn’t a fan and as it was for her I find it important to disclose that preference. The staff were quick to attend the accidental spill and clean it up without a fuss and accommodate us with a clean new table. (Really sorry about that) I would love for some Victoria sponge dessert to be added to the menu! I had ordered their new carrot cake 2.0 but as it’s new and popular they were sold out apparently so had to miss my chance on having that although I love me a ‘garjar ki halwa’ which is what it was.. maybe next time.. The place was absolutely beautiful looking and yeah sweet place to go :)

Thank you so much for spoiling a lovely evening we had with the family, it was actually our Sons 16th Birthday Nevertheless I’d like to be fair and honest with my review, firstly the Meet and greet was as expected Great customer service from front of house Nice decor and a fabulous welcoming environment.

We arrived @ approximately 22:00 today 11/12/21 We were seated promptly, orders were taken in a timely manor, fairly quickly the wife’s order arrived For which I thank you., Now 45 minutes later me and my daughters are still waiting for our order, I appreciate that thinks can go wrong and mistakes happen, however when there’s an issue it should be dealt with accordingly, This is the point where all staff should be on there A’ game .. Remember in business, A paying customer is always right ….! No ifs or buts ..

Now the shenanigans..! Firstly The staff member behind the counter needs to come off her high horse Rather than coming across as being apologetic for the wrong, I was made to feel like it’s my fault, first she said our order was given to another customer how is that even possible…? ( bearing in mind 3 different couples came through the door after us and were served before us), at which point she said 5 more minutes, 5 minutes later I was told our order is in the oven at which point she started to become argumentative all in all a bad first experience, I Politely gave £10 for the tea and cake we had to the cashier and quietly left with my family,

I’d like to say a very big thank you to the manager/ supervisor ( black shirt ) as a gesture of goodwill he had the decency to walk us out and offer me my £10 as a refund to which I declined

Note to management,

  1. staff Training for customer service 2 ) I saw the same staff members making rude comments and gestures about two slightly heavy / over weight customers which I find Disgusting

Now As a business owner Myself it’s wrong to leave a bad review because of a obnoxious...

Location: Moseley Branch

Unfortunately, our visit to this dessert shop was a massive letdown. From the moment we arrived, the service was disorganised and unprofessional. Although we were seated fairly quickly, no one came to take our order for over 20 minutes — I eventually had to approach a staff member myself.

Once our desserts started to arrive, they came out one by one with a delay of 5 to 10 minutes between each, which meant none of us could enjoy our desserts together, especially since they were supposed to be served hot. Even worse, one dessert was completely forgotten. When we chased it up, the staff member who took our order looked directly at us but ignored the issue and continued chatting with her colleagues. It wasn’t until she caught my eye again while taking another customer’s order that she came over to address it. She apologised and said it would be made immediately — it still took another 20 minutes and was then served in a takeaway bag, despite us clearly dining in. It honestly felt like they just wanted to get rid of us.

There was absolutely no sense of professionalism or customer service throughout the visit. The desserts themselves were underwhelming — poor in taste, presentation, and overall quality. Definitely not worth photographing, let alone paying for.

While the Moseley store looks nice from the outside, the experience inside was a complete disappointment compared to other branches I've visited. It seemed like a group of very young, inexperienced staff were left to run the place without any visible manager present. They were more focused on chatting with each other than attending to customers.

Would not recommend this branch at all — it needs serious improvement in both service...
