I had a horrible experience with KFC again, this time with the Birmingham Longbridge branch. My brother ordered a family bucket for our dinner through Uber Eats. When it arrived, the food was hot but had a strange, unpleasant smell. The kitchen started to smell bad as soon as we opened the bucket. It didn’t seem fresh at all, and I was unhappy, but my family said it looked okay, so we ate it anyway.
A few hours later, I began experiencing stomach pain, and my 3.5-year-old daughter started crying because of severe stomach aches. This isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with KFC. In the last two years, I’ve had similar bad experiences at the KFC on Erdington High Street and the Stafford Services location on the M6 toward Manchester. I don’t know what’s going on with their food, but it always smells off.
To make things worse, after throwing the leftover chicken in the kitchen bin, the smell became unbearable within 15 minutes. I had to move the bucket outside to the garden, and the smell is still awful even now.
I’m writing this review at midnight while my daughter is crying and my entire family is suffering because of KFC’s low-quality, junk chicken. This level of food hygiene is unacceptable. I’m extremely disappointed and will never order...

Firstly, I don't see how you can advertise something as a meal and then have it not include fries, especially when there is a picture alongside the name of the product that includes fries and no option to choose fries as a side if you as the store KNOW already that the 'meal' isn't going to include them. The side I did order (since it was an option) never arrived, nor did the extra pieces of chicken ordered to pad out the meal for my father. Tonight my parents have had a burger and some cans of drink for their meal. How is that acceptable?
You charged me just over £25 to get a jacked up order I couldn't even amend because when I tried to call the store, it went straight to answer phone and the answer phone machine was too full for me to leave a message. Thank god the Deliveroo app was more responsible and kind enough to give me some credits, though then again, why should they pay for YOUR mistake? Very disappointing service. I will not be using you again and I would urge others...
Read moreMy husband and I visited today. Upon arrival they were absolutely packed so we decided to wait outside and order via the app, which was sorted within minutes when we went inside. The staff were absolutely wonderful and clearly inundated with delivery drivers (Deliveroo, uber eats etc). We were shocked to see how rude the delivery people were to the staff. Drivers shoving their phones towards the staff and leaning past the safety screens which have been put up for Covid. One staff member tried to ask them to stop leaning over as the barriers are there for a reason, which was completely ignored. We really felt for the staff, they were wonderful, helpful, polite and just trying their best. The delivery drivers were rude, obnoxious, and quite frankly intimidating in a huddled group of around 8 drivers not social distancing. Thankyou to the staff who are doing everything they can in these current condition. We will continue to collect and will not be encouraging these drivers with this sort...
