Eat in experience - staff preoccupied in their own conversation whilst serving me, not only is this rude practice but the conversation was unsavoury and derogatory.. not what I want to hear or my 2 young children. Restaurant was a complete mess, fries all over the floor and several tables had rubbish on them. Could understand this if the restaurant was heaving, but there was only 1 other family of customers there and plenty of staff behind the counter gossiping. When food arrived there was an Afro hair in the burger. I took it back only for staff to argue in front of me who had prepared that burger. There was even an insinuation that I had planted the hair which I laughed off as my hair is clearly not Afro type, unlike a few staff members. Although this is only my most recent done in experience, the service is pretty poor to say the least. Drive thru - just as bad! Ordered a bucket and asked for very little or no leg as the kids just won't eat it. Server at window seemed ok with this request but when she passed the message on she was met with a barrage of abuse, which if you've ever driven through you'll know you can see right through to the kitchen. The server told me they would try their best. The kitchen staff then said no she wouldn't as it's hard to avoid a particular piece of meat. I said I'd wait for new chicken, she told me it's not an option. I cancelled the order and went to nearby northgate KFC. All in all, staff are very confrontational and just seem always preoccupied and too busy doing their own thing to help. I won't be returning. Read moreCashier at the drive thru, possibly called Sorina, was exceptionally rude. Argued with her at the drive thru kiosk. I ordered a boneless banquet meal and presented my phone to scan the app straight away at the drive thru. Yet the cashier still mischarged me for the boneless banquet. She then argued and blamed me for not telling her at the drive thru speaker I had the app. Didn't want to resolve my complaint until I told her I wanted it sorted, huffed and puffed and went to get a manager. Was eventually resolved, but she refused to give me my receipt as she had to cancel the order and rebook it out. I had to settle for being allowed to take a photo of the receipt. She also claimed that 2 out of the 4 dips were out of stock, which I didn't believe. I ended up being suspicious that something may have been done to my son and my food out of sight as she had that much of an attitude. I ended up binning the food as I didn't feel comfortable letting my son eat it. Further more there were no napkins or wipes in the bag, so luckily we didn't eat it on the car park as would have had nothing to wipe our hands with. Read moreThe entrance to the drive through is ridiculously tight, you dont see the menu with the prices until youre right at the box to order, they only display the meals, so i had to hurriedly ask them for their single price burgers /saver type menu (i dont use kfc often, but i do know they do low priced items like wraps, small popcorn chicken etc. Being short of cash, and just in a hurry, n busy, i thought id just grab a quick something cheap n cheerful with the change i had.. But the rude voice asking me what I wanted, said they didnt do a savers menu, and just patronised me by reading out prices of the meals and burgers on the basic drive thru menu board i could already see, there were ppl waiting behind me, and i wasnt gonna pay nearly £5 for a chicken burger, (u can get a full carvery for that, btw!)
