Well where do we begin.... A little get together for a friends birthday & decided to return to bloomers as we'd all been there previously & had a nice experience, but not on this occasion. We all found the lady waitress to be very rude, unpleasant & definitely needs to take a course in customer service as she definitely lacks that. She was extremely rude to one of my friends which was uncalled for. The food was okay-ish or so we thought until 4, yes 4 of my friends was extremely sick that same night, now they all ate the mussels, which we feel 💯 is because of the mussels. No other explanation at all. Well it goes without saying we will never return to this restaurant 😫 again. To lady waitress...... to succeed in business you really need to change your attitude towards YOUR customers, have some respect and take a look into Food Quality Control or you'll be gone before you know it,...

Myself and friends have visited boomers on multiple occasions for catch up drinks/food and have even hired the room upstairs. This week we visited for a friends birthday where one of the party just popped in on the way home from work for 5 minutes, the waitress challenged my friend as to why she wasn’t buying a drink and if she didn’t do so then she would be escorted of the premises as this was not a place for a reunion. This is a disgusting comment to make a table of 9 people who have come to spend their money with you. If I had heard this we would have upped and left there and then. Anyway my friend bought a drink. The service was slow. Amongst our food orders were prawns, mussels, and pate. That evening and the next day I was sick, along with 3 other members of the party. The food had clearly made us all Ill on top of the rude remarks. We will never return here after...

The place looks great visually, as for service and the food, really wasn’t great at all. Passing by on a quite late afternoon we thought we would try out some of their cocktails. Though these wasn’t bad the 20 minutes they took to arrive was to long. Even so we was enticed by the menu into ordering food. What a mistake.. £20 + for a mediocre sized steak (none of the flavours distinguishable it was cooked in) was presented already cut into pieces that resembled something that would be served on a baguette was strange. As this is ONLY what’s served and for the price ( no salad, garnish, etc) this was a very underwhelming steak experience indeed. Not one we shall be repeating or unfortunately...
