Friday 04th August. My wife, son, daughter, and I were travelling up north to see my parent for the weekend; but those 3 were hungry so we took a slight detour and went to MacDonald's. It was a little before 1600hrs and we could see there was a queue inside so decided on the driver-tru for "quickness" - That was our mistake. There were 3 vehicles ahead of me, but they had placed their orders, 2 had paid and the was just paying ... At first, I did think the drive-tru was broken as we were sat there for around 6+ mins with silence .... just waiting. Eventually a voice did come through the speaker (a little like the Wizard of Oz) and the order was placed, and we were asked to drive to the next window, so we did!! There were still 3 vehicles ahead of us - after 5 mins approx. the first car got whatever they were waiting for and pulled off so we all moved forward, and I could just get to the window and paid ... it was contactless and the girl very quickly put the card reader out, and before I could even react, like the flash it was pulled back in, and the window closed. I took that as confirmation my payment had gone through and i was, like a game, good to proceed (when the remaining 2 vehicles had their orders and moved) 4-5mins later we managed to get to the collection window ... the girl on this one clearly didn't want to be at work, no smile and hello or anything, just held out the drinks and passed a brown bag over, then she was doing something (haven't a clue what) so i asked is that everything, as there was no signal of a enjoy your meal and have a good day, and she said "yes" at which point my wife was looking in the bag and passing the food round and said "no its not, we are missing (whatever it was)". The girl then turned to someone and shouted we need xx - then she turned back to us handed a bag out and turned away again ... no apology, thank you, have a good day or kiss my a$$.
I have found increasingly that McDonald's are getting worse and worse for service. The staff never look happy, at all - and they can never get the order right (last time we had our friends over, with their 3 kids - we placed the order online and just had to collect in 15/20 mins from Coventry Road. Me and my mate went to collect and waited at least 25/30 mins (in addition to waiting the initial twenty before leaving out) then a little Chinese lady brought out a number of drinks, went back inside and returned with 2 big brown bags and said this was everything - which we took her on her word for, as there was 9 meals with hungry people at home waiting. We walked into my house and the wives started handing out the meals and true to form all the fries were together (small, Med & Large) making it harder, but come the end - all 5 kids had their meals, the good ladies had their meals and i had mine...BUT, we were missing a whole meal that was my mates. He had the drink and that was it .... so, he had to go back to McDonald's where he had to argue in store to tell them that his meal was missing (according to the staff, all the food should have been returned and then they could see and give the missing meal - that went down like a led balloon!) However, he did eventually get his Big Tasty with extra bacon .... Overall, especially Cov Rd - they can not get orders correct, ever. They need to look at their process and improve it so orders are checked twice / three times but quickly, so food doesn't go cold!! or train...
Read moreReally wished I could leave a minus zero This has to be by far the worst McDonald's in the uk I've never in my life met such rude staff with the worst customer service and most disrespectful approach to dealing with customers in my life I went through the drive in early one morning the woman on the speaker asked for our order my friend ordered a egg muffin and a sausage and egg muffin the girl said ok so we proceeded to the window where she was waiting and asked again what do you want .....so we told her again ...she then after a few minutes said what did you want so we said again....she repeated back our order but got it wrong so my friend said why can't you hear we've said it three times she replies it's these head phones which he responds tAke them off then which she did ....so ..he repeated the order again and she replies what !!!!!!!!! So he says seriously now what is it your not understanding she snaps I'm tired and I'm new I've only been here three weeks and a whole lot of verbal which was so shocking to be honest most of it l couldn't hear but couldn't believe How we was getting treated over wanting two muffins at 5 am Anyway got food in the end and went home,sat down on sofa opened food she'd given two sausage and egg muffins ....unbelievable...really annoyed by now as my friend is Muslim and can't eat sausage which a Asian girl really should be educated on so beginning to think this was deliberate anyway got back in car and went back Told the manager the story and the manager said the same member of staff had said she was shouting at us and getting mad with us because I'd called her really bad names some of them racist ....absolutely shocking ...obviously l wasn't ld hardly said two words just said to her why are you arguing on us which is when she kept saying she's tired if l hadn't of gone back they would never of known otherwise ...she was sent home On my second visit a week later also a late night worker took my order got it wrong when the manager pulled him on the mistake he made before I'd been passed the food he was so annoyed that he tried to say it was me that l didn't order what I'd ordered I put him right and that was that ....or so l thought Just got a taxi to the same Mcdonald's the same guy took my order said do I want to make it large I replied yes got home and theirs a few cold fries in the bottom of carton a few black ones too Evil seen as I only go for my 12 year old son so although this is my local macdonolds and the only 24 hour one around I can't not out of choice use this store anymore all because the staff have singled me out to mess with my food Absolutely disgusting behaviour that I feel and know l can no longer trust my local macdonolds enough to purchase my...
Read moreGiven that it was a bank holiday Monday I expected there to be long queues. The queue today was so long it reached off the car park. I decided to wait anyway as I had been at the hospital all day I was very hungry. After waiting nearly 30 minutes in the queue I ordered a meal for myself and my partner. Big Mac with a banana milkshake and a mccrispy chicken Burger with a strawberry milkshake. As always milkshake machine was broken As it always is at any time of the day that I go to the Garrett's green McDonald's. Also orderd the cheese bites and I had asked for gherkins on the chicken as I love the gherkins and always pinch them off the fellas burgers. I added 2 flake mcflurrys and waited in a queue to pay. Once I got to the window the order on the screen was wrong g I asked about the gherkins on the chicken burger and she assured me it would be done (baring in mind I paid extra for it) once I drove to the 2nd window, they handed me cokes and mcflurrys and asked me to park up to wait for my food. By the time it came out mcflurry had started to turn to milk. Had to queue to get OUT the car park as the people waiting for the drive thru were blocking the exit. Drove home (5mins away) and found no gherkins stone cold chips and ice in the cokes (which I had asked without) hair in the cheese bites and no dips even tho receipt stated 3 dips.
