I went to nandos at Birmingham fort with my wife for a takeaway it was our 34th wedding anniversary and i went to the fort to buy her a gift and decided to treat myself to a nando to take away as I hadn't had one for a while, As we entered the person was cheerful and asked if we were eating in and I said no a takeaway please she gave me a menu I chose and went to the counter to order that's when the experience of not welcome hit me in the face the girl serving gave the most unwelcome look and took my order asked for payment the bill came to £14.95 so I gave her 2 ten £ notes she asked me if I had a £5 note to which I said no but I'll pay on card if it made it any easier she replied bluntly can't be done you'll have to have change i said fine so she say's all in 50 pences as no £ coin's in till all the time with a very nasty attitude as i no other option open to me but her's so I played along as didn't want to upset my wife, Her colleague opened the nxt till and gave her a £5 note she handed it to me like trash no thank you which I wasn't fussed about so I went to the car and my wife came with food when we got home i opened the bag as it was just for me as my wife didn't want nandos I opened the sweetcorn first as I love it with the chicken but it was dry and husky burnt to toast on one side like a few day's old the side of spicy rice was dry and quarter full a handful would be an understatement and the chicken was cold and dry was bit of a drive back so I binned it, If you're the manager of the nandos at the fort then please read this review carefully and you'll know how it's being run and £14.95 of my hard earned money...
Read moreOur experience at Nando's Fort, Birmingham was met with terrible customer service from FoH member ‘Minaj’ I believe his name was (wasn’t wearing name badge but asked a member), he was a young Asian male with a small bit of facial hair (goatee) also wearing a thick gold necklace chain; he was very rude throughout our experience and wasn’t asked about our meal either at all. He gave us bad attitude, no manners when he gave our food just an abrupt “hot.” (Flavour of one of the meals), stared with blank expression until stated who’s it was and walked away with attitude facial expression, when we arrived at the store he didn’t greet us we had to say table for 2 and for a booth as store was near empty due to time of day in which he gave an attitudey look about, took us to a dirty booth and again was abrupt with a snappy “allergies.” We said no and he walked away before we could even sit. It’s not something we expect from any restaurant especially when spending £50+ on our meals. I also seen him act like this with other tables who have ordered he would just place a side they had on their table as he was walking and walked away with no interaction yet again with a ‘I don’t want to be here’ facial expression. I hope this individual will get spoken too as it can make the store look bad, especially if it’s a regular thing, can lose custom from this...
Read moreI’ve been a customer here for several years, for the first time today there was 6 tables empty and I was told there was a 40 min wait as there was a queue wait, I asked if I could wait in the waiting area which was empty when a lady called Sanita (seemed to be the manager) was called by the waiter who said we was not allowed to wait inside ( the restaurant was around half full!)I had my wife and two daughters age 2 and 5 and we had caught a taxi there at this time another couple arrived with there child who were told the same but now sanita said there was a 20 minute wait when I asked her she had told me 40?.. We waited by the front door with the other couple to realise she had lied as there was no collection customers or queue waiting before us to when we was seated. I felt a must to mention this today as Sanita and her staff are there to run this restaurant hopefully at there best but after what had happened and we were about to leave there was a young indian asian of origin waiter cleaning tables who was blatantly wiping the tables and wiping remains on the tables straight onto the floor where next customers were to walk and sit. Sanita was walking around showing her importance this also I could not realise why all anybody wants is kindness, clean good service and...
