I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Original Shinwari Restaurant, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The food, service, and atmosphere all came together perfectly to create a memorable evening. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warm and welcoming environment that truly represents traditional Shinwari hospitality.
The food was extremely delicious and full of authentic flavours. Every dish tasted fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, especially the Shinwari karahi, which had that signature rich taste that makes this cuisine stand out. The naan was soft and fresh, straight from the tandoor, and it complemented every bite beautifully. The spices were balancedânot too heavy, not too lightâand every dish had its own unique flavour profile. The restaurant clearly takes pride in using quality ingredients, and it shows in the taste.
The service was outstanding. The staff were polite, friendly, and always attentive without being intrusive. They made sure our table was well looked after and our food arrived on time. What stood out most was their genuine hospitality; they checked in to make sure everything was fine and were quick to fulfil any request. It felt like they really cared about making the dining experience enjoyable for every customer.
The atmosphere was simply fantastic. The restaurant has a traditional yet modern look, with comfortable seating and a clean, pleasant environment. The background music and soft lighting added to the cozy, family-friendly vibe. Whether youâre visiting with family, friends, or colleagues, itâs the kind of place that makes everyone feel relaxed and happy.
Overall, I would highly recommend Original Shinwari Restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Shinwari cuisine in a welcoming setting. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere makes it a top dining choice. Itâs a place where you donât just eatâyou enjoy a complete cultural and culinary experience. Iâll definitely be returning soon, and I encourage others to visit and taste what real Shinwari flavour...
Read moreWe went here for just a little snack and being a fan of pashwari kawa we thought we would try some but the first thing we noticed was that the place was empty but we thought it could be because it was only 20 minutes after opening time then just as we walked in to the dining area the first thing you see is a table with the servers personal belongings like coat handbag and phone then the server was rushing us to place an order and once we did place our order of grilled chicken wings fries and pashwari kawa the service was not very good we were waiting for a good 20 minutes before the food came. While we were waiting the server gave us plates and drinking glasses we didn't order any cold drinks so we assumed she was going to give us a jug of water but that never came so I don't know what the glasses were for. Food wise the chicken wings were ok but could definitely do with improvement they needed to be cooked a little longer and a little more flavour. The fries had a bitter after taste which leads me belive the oil was either too hot or old. The tea was bland it definitely needed more brewing and more tea leaves and she did tell us to let's it sit but it was already just drinking temp she also bought a sugar jar that had hardly any sugar in it and what was in it did not come out so this was the first time we said something for which she proceededto open up the dispenserand scrape out the sugar at the table instead of taking it to refill. There was two of them and they stood a few steps away from our table talking to each other the whole time which was quite uncomfortable but still they did not see the sugar issue until we called them then we asked for the bill which after waiting a while still didn't come I ended up going to the counter to pay and then the card machine took a few tries to work. It put a dampener on my day was not a good...
Read moreThe food was very great, service was disastrous. Poor waiters were too less to handle the situation. Loads of customers made them puzzled to handle the situation. Big restaurant but unfortunately there was no one to welcome the customers and direct them their seats. I feel sad for the waiters that they were not given proper training. It's not just to say any excuse but this kind of chaotic service will destroy their business. Poor chiefs were struggling hard and actually they made nice food, the long time waiting destroyed my appetite. One family just came with us and they hand to leave early because they couldn't wait long.
For long time wait they need to offer their customers some popcorn and some spuce to keep them busy or give them a discount in the endđż
God help those who go there and open their double Iftai.
Please don't take my comments as negative but it's for the improvement of service.
My suggestion they need to increase the service and not blame the waiters. I feel sad for them that they are can't not handle too many customers.
Btw you have to find car parking by...
