I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Taste of Pakistan was truly disappointing. The food was absolutely terrible, clearly not fresh and tasted like leftovers that had been reheated multiple times. Despite the name, there was nothing remotely close to the authentic taste of Pakistan in any of the dishes.

What’s even more frustrating is the misleading presentation. They’ve got a small car outside decked out in eye-catching Pakistani truck art, which sets the expectation for a genuine and flavourful culinary experience. Unfortunately, that’s where the effort seems to have ended. The food was poorly prepared and lacked any of the rich, comforting flavours you’d expect from traditional Pakistani cuisine.

I went in hoping for at least a decent meal, but honestly, I wouldn’t serve what they gave me to a DOG, let alone another human being. Even their bakery items like biscuits and cake rusks were subpar, dry, tasteless, and nothing like the quality you’d find in a real Pakistani bakery. “Pakistani”? More like a bad joke.

There’s a lot more I could say, but I’ll leave it at this: avoid this place. Don’t be fooled by the flashy decorations. This spot is all show and...

Worst experience visiting this place. The food need to be ordered downstairs. We ordered 2 samosa chat in starter. It was definitely the worst samosa chat I have ever tasted. The sweet sauce is usually made with dates(khajoor). Here it was made with God knows what. You can see the pink colour in my pictures. Then we ordered Sindhi biryani and lamb karahi. The biryani looked like leftover from previous day and no taste. The karahi was boned and tasteless I hardly had 3 bites and could not eat more. Most of the food was left as we could not finish it. Never visiting this place ever again.

There was another group of 4 young lads and they too said the same thing to server that the biryani does not look/taste fresh. Felt like it was leftover from the day before.

Edit: I said all the above to the person taking payment and he only charged us £20 instead of £34ish. But still its £20 for something that we cant...

I've been here a few times and brought a friend from London here who was visiting who absolutely loved it. We got food to share, parathas, halwa puri, cholay, paaye, and tea. Paratha was lovely and flaky, I don't think they use oil to cook it, maybe ghee/butter, but tastes nice. Puri were lovely and crispy, not oil and floppy, as you can get from some places. Loved the halwa not overly sweet, cholay were ok. Paaye were cooked really nice they came off the bone easily. Overall nice, the deco is nice proper Pakistani style painting on walls like you would get on their lorries and trucks. Seating is real Pakistani style. They have a place to pray too. We also bought some Alsi ke panjeeri, gajarela. There is plenty of methai and different types of panjeeri to choose from, curries and snacks.
