Rumana's.....Indian Fusion — Restaurant in Birmingham

Woah!! This was probably one of the worse places I've ever had a curry from in Birmingham! How have Rumanas got so many stars? I dont really leave reviews about places but I thought I'd make an exception. The Jalfrezi's we had was vile, large chunks of tough chicken with fat on them, the sauce was below average, and the taste of them as a whole was fit for the bin, infact these both went down the toilet as the smell was too strong for the bin. The Naans was under cooked and doughy, the rice smelt like bleach or something, the free supplementary onion Bhajis couldn't make up for the fact the food was horrid and these themselves was dashed along with the Naans. Terrible waste of money. I'll be honest and say Morrison's ready meal curry deals tasted much much better than this poor version of a Jalfrezi. I've lived in Birmingham all my life and ate in nearly every restaurant and takeaway around the northfield area. I gave this one a shot because of the reviews and I really wish I hadn't, this must be one of the most rubbish restaurants in the whole of Northfield, I can name atleast 10 local restaurants around here that would demolish this places food. Rumanas is an absolute joke of a restaurant, I'd rate it -1 star and that's being generous, almost £10 for a "Jalfrezy" as they call it, was appauling. The prices do not reflect on their quality of food, as their quality was that of a frozen meal, actually even worse. Im still puzzled that these guys have 4+ star reviews!! SHOCKING!!

Visited the family fave place again this evening after promising the family all week Yes again beautiful food stunning service good times great vibes. Hashu was again so friendly kind chatty and caring as was his wonderful sister. The whole family are amazing chatting with the customers and making the time to put us at ease.

Nothing was to much trouble and us as a family we had the best evening. Our belly’s are full the kids are happy.
