Sophie's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Birmingham

Embarrassingly poor service. Waited for an hour and a quarter with no sign of a delivery - had to call to find out what was wrong and was met with rude and unhelpful staff. Had to cancel the order. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. EDIT: They then replied to my review by lying about the circumstances and verbally attacking me further! I did not demand that the order be free at all and am offended at the suggestion. True that they offered a £3 cake but I rejected this (simply because I don't like cake) and asked if there was anything else I could have instead and they said it was either that or they'd cancel the order, so I agreed to the cancellation. The roads were in no way treacherous at that point and any of the light snowfall had been gone by noon with the order being placed at around 6:30pm. There are so many great things to say about Sophie's Pizza & Pasta, I'm not sure they would all fit. The food is awesome, delicious, fresh and clearly everything is prepared with care as well as a focus on quality. The kitchen looks spotless and it always has, not like some pizza places that have Food Hygiene scores that yo-yo. The delivery service runs beautifully and after ordering most weekends since they opened, I can honestly say that every delivery/order has been spot on. If all this wasn't enough, the owners and their colleagues are always a pleasure to deal with, polite, professional and always welcoming. If it were not for Sophie's Pizza & Pasta, I'm sure we would not have survived Covid or Lock Down. Thanks to everyone there for an end to end...

I often get takeaways from here, and they are very nice. The delivery service usually takes around 1 hour to deliver, so I would pre-order and have patience lol. For dining-in, the food is served very quickly, but if you order the pasta, it usually gets heated in the microwave - nonetheless the flavour is spot-on and delicious. The pizzas are very tasty, I would say that this is the best local pizza restaurant for anyone who wants a nice pizza takeaway. Also, their chicken nuggets are very similar in taste...
