Not the best . Definitely not the nandos it used to be.
Visited yesterday with parter and his son. Told 30 minute wait but only 5 tables occupied. I questioned this and was told they don't have the staff, odd! ( looking around the definitely had the staff ) Told to wait outside and to log on to the app to see wait times etc.. it was raining so we went to the Hollywood bowl for a drink, it was pouring it down with rain so not really the ' sit and wait outside weather ' yes they had a parasol but the seats were soaked.
Went back when the table was ready and it's just a painful experience.
U can't order at the till , has to be done on the app , which is fine, I understand the world we live in atm , but the signal wasn't great , it was a complete faff.
I asked for some peri tamer sauce and was told no. I've been having thr same meal for about 10 years and always had peri tamer sauce as a side. Apparently ' this should never have been allowed and I'd gotten away with having it for too long ' ... made to feel as though I'd broken the law. I explained this , but the attitude was basically, we ain't giving it ya!
Asked Asked bbq but u have the pay for that.

Read moreI attended earlier with my children and the lady at the door greeting was lovely She asked for allergies and took us to our table She told her manager (Matt) about the allergy for my boy (dairy and tomatoes) I went up to order and Matt took the order He hadn't read the order back but didn't think much of it When the food came out my lads burger had ketchup in I told Matt that the burger has ketchup in and sent it back The other burger that came out had tomato and a yoghurt type sauce in
At this point my son had nearly finished eating and wasn't that bothered about eating the chicken fillet due to the contamination
I had also asked for peri tamer sauce which wasn't given and I asked for a butterfly chicken which came in a burger
I told Matt about this and he didn't seem too interested Nor did he see if that was an error on his part and if there was a difference in pricing
The other staff were absolutely lovely yet I would expect a manager to know his role if he is leading a team- he clearly doesn't have any concept of allergies so I won't be returning with anyone who has allergies and won't be recommending those with allergies to come to the...
Read moreNando’s food is standard, which is really good food. This outlet however is disappointing. I ordered on phone and it took ages before anyone answered. It was loud and the person taking the order, in a rush. Got my name wrong completely, then spelt out, hoping it was correct. Promised food in 20 mins.
30 mins later, reached Nandos. Food not ready. Name wrong. Upon payment, no mention of time of food. Asked if food was ready, told ‘not yet’. Narrated the 20 min saga, person then checked, came back and said 3 more mins!
Takeaway sauces not offered. Asked for pots, told they now had sachets. I’ve been to other Nando’s where sachets are available to take away. Here, got asked how many of what I wanted. Cheap-ish attitude to customers.
Then there’s the issue of a popular restaurant vs an overcrowded one. With people standing and sitting, waiting in and outside the restaurant, I’m betting more on overcrowded. Wouldn’t want to sit there...
