A1 Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Bolton

It's been a while since visiting this chippy as it was always our favourite. Probably about 18 months and in that time it looks like it's changed owners. The food was awful because whatever they are cooking with makes food taste like its laced with salt. I had sausage chips and gravy and son had meat pie chips and gravy. We couldn't eat our food because the gravy was like gloopy black oil that was so salty, even the dog threw it up when I gave him my left over sausage and gravy. Sorry but we won't be visiting again...

Been frequent customer for 30 years will never come here again new recruitment/ change of staff are 0. Only take cash big alarm bells food was one of the worst chinese takeaways in my life,its now in the bin. English lady working there I would not speak to a dog the way they spoke to her. Never again please do not go they are sad...

It was rubbish customer service and they had got my order wrong and gave me salt and Pepper chips instead of normal chips , they were for kids and i was also overcharged and they wouldn't admit they had got my order wrong. I asked if we could change them but they refused and were arguing with me. Won't be going...
