Extremely Poor Service and Rude Staff-Disappointed

I had a very frustrating experience with Camel One on Derby Street, Bolton, and I feel compelled to share it.

I called the restaurant at around 11:50 PM to place a simple order for 6 chapatis and one salad. The person on the phone confirmed my order and told me to come in 10–15 minutes. I arrived at around 12:05 AM, only to be met with complete denial from the staff member at the front.

He outright claimed no phone call had been received. I showed him my call log to prove I had contacted the restaurant — yet he continued to deny it and acted as though I was making it up. He was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. When I asked to speak to the manager, he bluntly said, “No manager is here, come back tomorrow,” and refused to help further.

His tone and attitude showed a complete lack of customer service, responsibility, and basic manners. This behavior is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the restaurant.

If this is how Camel One treats its customers, especially late at night, then I will not be returning and I would caution others to think twice before doing so. Management seriously needs to address staff conduct and...

I actually travel all the way from Liverpool (over an hour’s journey) just to enjoy their food, and it’s completely worth it every single time.
