Haji's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Bolton

UPDATE: 2nd visit the chips were still bangin however the pizza wasn't as good as last visit, it was still nice don't get me wrong but seems like the beef was very dry im suspecting now this is not homemade and maybe frozen beef topping ,also there was not enough cheese or chicken donner this time around.

Been trying to find a good classic Asian style pizza from the 90's I think I may have found it

I got 9" Pizza meal £6 Pizza was very good 8.5/10 super soft spongy dough , beautiful chicken donner and keema What i love is majority of the ingredients were homemade unlike other places that use horrible frozen pizza toppings Only downside I would say is it need more tomato pizza sauce on pizza, chips were bangin 10/10 nice a crunchy and soft and fluffy inside prob one of tge best takeaway chips I've had Decent selection of drinks 8/10

Peri burger 8/10 £3.50 Nice peri burger , its a fried battered fillet that's drenching in peri sauce then grilled , I love these compared to the non fried versions , only negative id say about this burger was the flavour of peri was on the milder side ,needs more hot pepper and lemon juice imo

pretty good food. used to order everyday but it got a bit too expensive. the peri peri burger meal is actually grilled and not fried. it is very very spicy though and it leaves me feeling very thirsty afterwards which is unusual. asking for less peri sauce when ordering, the burger has the sauce but less of it which isn't as spicy and does not make me thirsty. if you ask for less sauce, they might not do it and give you the normal amount (usually when they are busy) and when i ask for NO red salt on the chips, they still put salt on the chips. it is still very filling for only £5 (meal and other take aways is more then that and it isn't filling) and a lot cleaner then the other take aways. they use bigger buns with no sesame seeds and it is never stale (not like other take aways). salad on burger is always fresh and never brown and the pizzas are also really nice (i eat more of the burgers then the pizzas). it isn't surprising why they are so busy every day and on ramadan. i hope they don't make the portions smaller like the other takeaways and i hope they dont increase the prices...

We were passing on our yearly trip to the lakes, we needed a pit stop. Came across Haji's. With all due respect this place isn't the prettiest but is was BUSY! (always a good sign) we ordered the 12" doner calzone and the peri sizzler calzone and they did not fail us!! Wow, fresh, piping hot and TASTY. They were making fresh chicken fillet burgers, we couldn't resist trying the peri peri fillet burger and my gosh it was amazing! Didn't take a picture of it I'm afraid it was very very quickly devoured!

Prices are brilliant and I can see why it's so busy in here, great food, amazing service and fantastic prices, you definitely get your moneys worth in here.

This place is CASH ONLY but a cash machine across the road is available.
