This was my first time coming to this indian restaurant and it was my daughter that mentioned we should go as it's not too far from where she lives, so we had a great day out beforehand and headed here for our evening meal, I parked up in a disabled bay which was very close to the entrance and once we got inside it was very open and light. I needed the loo so I headed off to the toilets which I can confirm have a disabled toilet which was very clean and tidy with all you need and to clean up after including a hand dryer. There was enough room to get in but not big enough to turn around in so going backwards isn't a problem for my electric wheelchair and the door is wider than normal toilet doors. They removed a chair for me to be seated at the table and drinks were served first. I really got to mention the water walls that devide the tables in the middle, they had fairy style lights around the sides with white spotlights shining from the bottom upwards. I only had the main meal (keema madras) which was very nice and just the way it usually tastes but with an air of quality to it. The service was excellent but I did have to say pardon twice as I found the guy to be a little softly spoken. Each of us enjoyed our stay there and the meals we asked for, all in all a very pleasant place to eat and yes we shall return in the near future. This is definitely a goto place to eat if you love a good curry and even better with friends and family or those looking for a venue to take on larger groups especially birthday events and such like.

Me & wife visited the place on the Bank Holiday weekend in hunt of authentic Indian food, but were disappointed at every step. We ordered Paneer chat Pure , samosa chat & also paneer butter masala, mango lassi, cheese garlic kulcha, dal tadka & veg pulav. At the outset the service was slow when you think that the entire restaurant was empty, this later on picked up well. The paneer chat pure was bland in taste and the richness as expected was missed. Samosa chat had a very okayish samosa with a very strong hint of cumin seeds, more over the samosa was cold (normally the samosa is freshly fried and then spiced upon), also the yogurt was almost absent. Then came the paneer butter masala, while we had requested it to be prepared hot, the entire gravy was sweet (we had 1 green chilly cut into 2 put in the gravy to serve our request). This was terribly disaapointing, for almost 10£ this was a sheer waste of money. To top it off, our cheese kulcha bread was wrongly served as garlic kulcha bread, which when told about was promptly replaced. Then the dal tadka, was overly salty and had a very strong turmeric flavour, which was a dampener. The pulav and the mango lassi were pretty fine. All in all, this was a very expensive meal which made us felt that we were duped. The restaurant is pricey for sure, almost charging London rates in Bolton. We are vegetarians so can't comment on the meat & fish items. I believe this is a restaurant serves specifically to the British pallet and not as authentic as it claims. For all the desis kindly avoid this one. The service as well could use with some improvent, in a fine dining restaurant the customer is asked to go to the till to pay the bill with card. I would like to say that the restaurant has made great arrangement to ensure social distancing and Covid19 measures, kudos for that. Thank you.

Our visit here was quite frustrating, we arrived around 90 min before closing time to which one elder waiter asked what we want as soon as he passed us the menu, he rushed us throughout our meal leaning over me taking unfinished plates to the point I had to tell him to back off, he had no knowledge of the menu and was just rude,, however the other waiter was complete opposite, polite and explained a few dishes,,, the food was tasty , I thought one dish the chicken didn't smell right , in which I didn't eat it, my partner did and suffered immensely the next day, it's a shame as the staff (minus 1) were polite/professional and the food was delicious (minus 1 again) , we just had a not good experience

I visited with a large group (12) on a Friday night. I ordered Lamb Pudinha which is one of the best lamb dishes I've ever eaten! We also had shared orders of onion bhaji, paneer, rice, and naan. Everything was great. The service was pleasant, calm, and professional for dealing with such a large group. Everyone liked what they ordered except for my sister and daughter who said their dishes were too sweet. My daughter had the chicken tikka masala. My sister ordered a mild chicken dish from the "evergreen" menu and could not eat it because it was so sweet. Both my sister and daughter are not picky eaters, so witnessing their experience caused me to rate this restaurant with 4 starts instead of 5.

The food lovely and the service was fast too. We went on a week day, so was not crowded. The portion were a bit small as you can see in one the picture I have stood the spoon up in the pot. The pot look big but not filled much. The other starter portion were a bit small too. That's is the only down side. The fish pakora starter was very bland no flavour to it at all. For Starters we had, vegetables Samosa, chilli panner, chicken tikka, jhinga puree and fish pakora. Mains we had Naga lamb, tarka dal, veg kolhapuri and lamb biryani. Price was £££ Hope this helps. Thanks. £ - Good Value For Money. ££ - Reasonable. £££ - Extra. ££££ - Inflated.

An excellent choice if you are looking for a flavourful and authentic Indian food experience. This is a very popular restaurant and the food is of excellent standard. The staff are very attentive and were very helpful. I had chicken chaat puri to start which was wonderfully dressed and full of flavour. I had the Bengal Lamb for main which came recommend to me by the waiter. I wasn't disappointed, exactly what I was after. Good dish, lots of meat, a mixture of spices and a boiled egg. Exactly what I was after. Washed down with Cobra lager, they also have Cobra Malabar IPA available. I can recommend this place very highly.
