Megna Tandoori Restaurant — Restaurant in Borough of Runnymede

I had placed a delivery several times and almost ALL my experiences with the delivery staff was horrible to say the least. Particularly with this delivery driver who drove a white BMW who is a delivery staff at this restaurant (as I was told by the manager). The delivery and hand-off experience was very bad, as the staff was very rude and patronizing. Talked to me in a very angry and rude tone, complaining to me about things such as the time I placed order to personal things about how he has a long drive home and how he could not find my place etc. Most recently, this particular staff refused to even give me my food by hand and left food at the pavement, even when I was promptly at my door. I was also greeted with more rude remarks, such as him shouting at me "look, look!" while pointing at my food. Its one big issue to be rude to your customers and its also another issue when you patronize your customers with rude and aggressive behaviours. I would never order or dine at this place again. This place left me feeling very uncomfortable and I have never seen this type of behaviour throughout years of ordering from and dining in various places. Ordered Briyani and some curry along with rotis. The turnaround was quick given the low number of dishes. But the quantity was pathetic, The briyani was priced at whooping 9.95. The quantity given was in a small takeaway aluminium foil (usually the ones we get the side dishes). the accompanying complimentary veg curry that came along was also in the same sized box and in fact was filled more than that. The taste was average not great. The worst was the response of the staff when i called to convey this. Were least bothered about the value for money and were arrogantly blatant trying to convince me that the box size does not matter. If anyone are raving about the food here, they definitely haven't had authentic Indian food at better prices elsewhere. I will definitely not waste my money on the minuscule quantity of food priced...

Terrible service - was there with perfectly well-behaved graduate students in a group and while staff were respectful to myself (an older person) they were downright rude to everyone else - being reluctant to serve tap water, openly rolling eyes, speaking in a gruff manner, refusing to admit they got orders wrong while blaming clients in an angry manner (on top of long wait for food!); kicking up a huge fuss over their so-called policy of not accepting individual card payments - as opposed to group -payments. I had to intercede several times in order to make clear our rights as customers. Shame as I had been earmarking this venue for future post conference dinners: not ever going there again, I'll certainly actively NOT recommend it to friends...
