Grand Grill — Restaurant in Borough of Spelthorne

Great food and great people. I'm staying in a hotel a few miles away from Grand Grill, and although I had a couple of kebab shops within walking distance from.the hotel, I chose to give this place a try based on their reviews, I can honestly say my 25 mins trip one way in heavy traffic was well worth. I had chicken shish kebab, chicken wings and chips and salad plus the very tasty home-made garlic sauce 👌. Both, the chicken shish and especially the chicken wings were absolutely finger licking good. Also, their chips are the best chips I had in a kebab shop, they are not soggy like in many kebab shops, these are crispy on the outside and soft inside and have a beautiful colour and texture. I love Grand Grill, the food by far is the best! not only is the food delicious but the owner is so welcoming and kind. We mainly have our food delivered, the food preparation and packaging is to a high standard, the food is fresh, tasty and always hot (temperature) on arrival! We love the complimentary Turkish delight it's delightful! So much thought and love goes into the food and level of service. I ordered from yourselves through deliveroo, i had read the reviews before and was looking forward to my meal. Disappointingly when my order arrived my doner kebab wrap was missing, i swiftly called your restaurant and was told it wasn’t your fault and i would have to complain through deliveroo. I did so but this did not make up for the missing item and in truth ruined my experience. The chap on the phone from your restaurant was very blunt and was very unhelpful. On the plus side the food we did receive was nice but obviously when you’re missing half the order it was never going to be enough.

I don’t think I’ll rush back...
