Superdrug — Local services in Borough of Spelthorne

Nice store with alot of products on offer. They often have various offers running at a time and have a good selection of each health care or beauty care item that they sell. Shop is generally tidy but the last 3 times I have been in there, the staff have been honestly lazy! There is normally only 1 person on the till and even though the queue is getting long, they stand around talking instead of helping even after the bell has been rung a few times for help. I've twice had to go up to them and ask them to help out, one of which she laughed and turned back around to talk to her colleagues about her weekend! It took an elderly lady shouting several times to finally get the staff member to stop talking and help out and even then they went behind the till and then came back out and gestured to a female member that was stocking shelves to get behind the till and help out and returned to his gossiping. I have been a customer with Superdrug ever since I was a child but the experience I had today at the Staines branch was such a horrible thing where one of the customer service women was serving the customers at the till and we joined a que of two people infront of us she served everyone until it was me and my sisters turn and suddenly there was another que. She started to serve the other people who joined the que I asked her why she is not serving us and she said you are not in a que i again asked her why she didn’t tell us we have to form a new que and also why she was serving the customers who were here before us. Her response was “ I don’t have to tell you” I am sorry but are you not here for the customers? It was pure racism to me and Superdrug is somewhere I would never go back...

I recently visited the Superdrug store in Staines upon Thames to complete some billing, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by the behavior of one of the staff members, Georgia. She was extremely rude and making it clear that she wasn't interested in assisting me.

The lack of customer service skills displayed by Georgia was disappointing, especially considering the importance of such skills in a retail environment. I hope that the management will take steps to address this issue and provide better training for their staff.
