Visited Faversham today for the 1940s event. We were planning to visit another cafe, but it didn't look good with scaffolding outside, so we ended up in Cosgroves. I'm so glad we did! Great service, good food, and lovely decor. Halloumi wraps for myself and my daughter, with sweet chilli and delicious mushrooms. (Big thank you to the member of staff who made those). Where can I start , there was enough for 2 people , the cheese and meats choices was not only fab the quality was unbelievable along side was homemade coleslaw, salad , pickles, beautiful cheese biscuits and bread Whilst I was in there I over heard the owner saying he was busier than ever with his new chef and her changes to the menu . Read moreReally pleasant experience at Cosgroves. Bit of a wait for food as we were eating at peak lunch time, otherwise great service and really good value for money. If you’re vegan, although not advertised as such, there are a couple options for you: English breakfast without eggs/sausages was definitely a substantial size. Definitely a couple other options that could be made vegan without losing half the plate! Also dairy alternatives available: oat, soy, almond milk....
