Spice Lounge — Restaurant in Borough of Swale

We have used this restaurant since we took over a local business a couple of years ago

Tonight we ordered a takeaway, and on arrival the cost was escalated by at least £6 to £7 on what we would normally expect to pay, the acting manager who was siting at a table in a building site whilst the place is being renovated during lockdown explained that the price was due to suppliers increasing their prices so they had to pass it on

We got the food home and frankly it just wasn’t the same as we have been used to, not much flavour very bland

When I phoned back to complain I was answered by the same person that served me, on mentioning price and quality he seemed to get irate, offered an apology

I asked if there had been a change of ownership to which I was I for that the owners were away and he was holding the fort

My opinion for what it’s worth is that you should check the price when ordering because it is nothing like that advertised on the website, and I’m not convinced it is the same owners or at least the usual...

Not only are you going to experience premium quality dishes, made authentic for everyone, you’ll get a vibrant hospitality given tailored to each customer, I absolutely love this restaurant and would come here any day. It’s easy to make curry dishes, but difficult to nail it, yet somehow in Faversham this restaurant exceeded my expectations.

Honestly, the food was succulent and delicious. I do not have one fault, the only thing I can complain is that EVERYTHING IS TOO PERFECT? Hahaha. Honestly, I love this place and would recommend this place to anyone, the owner of the business is extremely friendly including his son who greeted us especially with the lovely waiters, but the chefs definitely deserve recognition for the work they do to serve the people of Faversham.

Ventured here for the first time for my ladies birthday treat..!! and will not be returning. We was not famished so just hit a main course each with rice, pila and a basmati rice...they where exactly the same..NO difference even after questioning it the reply was " that is how they are"..Thank you. Half way through our meal a waiter decided to come to the table and pick up my Cobra bottle and decided I should empty MY bottle into the glass, I asked what he was doing..." you need more " and walked away with the empty bottle. Really..!! My lady had finished her Korma which she said was rather nice..!! well done...shame though you chicken Rogan Josh was dry, bland, watery sat on my plate, really did not help just because my lady had finished her meal...I was still trying to eat this inedible gunk you decided to come clear her plates away...that was the final straw. A big waste of £53.00 for 2...
