We got very bad experience today at McDonald's Boston, Lincolnshire and this is not a first time happened. We ordered MacDonald though app and request delivery which I don't know the contract between MC Donald's and Uber eats. Normally when we order McDonald's we receive delivery by UBER eats. The issue here is we didn't received complete order what we actually ordered. We called McDonald's and the person informed to go to app and request refund which when we asked how to do it we were told that "do you want me to open app for you and guide you how to do it " We went to Macdonald's asking about the order and we were told by duty manager that your order goes through UBER eats and they can sort out the issue. We were given missing part of order and we were told to complain to about you experience to Uber eats. When we called UBER eats they are saying we are not responsible for what order you get and we deliver what we given by McDonald's. The drivers from UBER eats in Boston Lincolnshire are so rude and last time when we ordered food they were literally shouting on my family and asking why don't you put correct address, actually we ordered from McDonald's app and our correct address is saved in app, so we were surprised why he was shouting. Now the question here is who's fault it is ? Is it MacDonald or UBER eats? Both are not happy to take responsibility and it's a fraud that we pay /used points to order which we didn't receive and neither we get our points nor money back which we paid. I would alert all you be careful with this...
Read moreDelivery Drivers Everywhere and getting priority over everyone else, causing mayhem !!!!!
Admittedly it was very busy in there BUT the entire operation seemed to be geared to serve the ridiculous amount of UBER/JUSTEAT/DELIVEROO drivers roaming around the restaurant like they own the place !!!! At One point there was 8 of them, all congregating about, getting in the way, taking up table space and shouting order numbers at the counter staff. Our order for 1 adult and 1 child took 35 minutes and in that time there must have been 20 collections for deliveries. Customers in the restaurant, waiting at the counter need to get priority over the delivery Drivers hanging about. It appears that they just walk to the front and stand and wait and the staff look pressured to pander to their needs. Really really poor experience even though the staff were working very hard
Just ordered a collection from here, chicken big mac missing from the order for a birthday party. When we called up to ask if they could deliver it they basically accused us of having it even though we haven't got it. Women who's name sounded like Maria on the phone said they would check CCTV to see if it was put into the order and we would have to drive back across town in rush hour traffic to collect it. Disgraceful service and attitude and average unhappy guest at a birthday party...
Read moreBased on my most recent visit; I can only give two stars. The drive through queue was about 59 cars long. Inside, the restaurant was beyond packed with customers and deliveroo, just eat and Uber eats drivers taking up half of the seating area and causing delays to service by not listening for their order to be called. There was no queue management or any sort of social distancing in place. I placed my order at the counter because I couldn't get the app to work (again) and waited a grand total of 32 minutes for my cooked to order food to arrive. I used my entire work break waiting for food and by the time I got to the car park, my food was already lukewarm at best. In the hierarchy of customers; it seems that a customer at the counter is at the bottom of the pile, with dine-in order point customers next, then take away order point customers, then dine in app customers with take away app customers next. Drive through customers are next and the most important "customers" (because they don't actually spend any money, but take up so much space) are the JustDeliverUber drivers. I'm sorry that it's a long review, but on this occasion; this was a dismal visit and I give two stars because McDonald's seen hellbent on alienating their physical customers by prioritising...
