Me and my family came to chaiwalla for the first time expecting to have some fresh food and chai tea. The food came cold the order was wrong and when making the staff aware of this he took the food back and told us he would bring some freshly made loaded fries back in 5/10 mins. When the second lot of fries came out they were still cold and looked like they had been re-heated. When taking the food back a second time he turned around and said ‘it’s hot underneath, it’s just the edges that are cold’ - how after 30 seconds of bringing the food out can it be cold???? The member of staff then contacted the manager - when we were speaking to the store manager Sohail - he was arrogant and unwilling to help. We were very reasonable on the phone making it clear we only wanted refunded for the loaded fries and what was supposed to be the chicken kebab nan but came as chicken tikka - baring in mind we spent around £50. We made it clear that we were happy with the chai but the food was ‘diabolical’. Whilst on the phone Sohail was watching the CCTV making remarks like ‘well you’ve eaten all your food’ - we made it clear that the food was eaten due to the fact that the staff didn’t do anything after we complained multiple times, one of us eating the food has epilepsy and with no food is prone to seizures and there was other children that needed to eat. Getting no where with the manager over the phone we asked for the Head Office contact details in which Sohail refused to give us the information. All we wanted was some warm food and good customer service, we have received non of this. On top of this complaint we are also deeply disturbed to know that Sohail was watching the CCTV away from work as it is ‘his day off’ and we will be looking into the laws and regulations on this matter as on top of the bad customer service we now feel our privacy has been invaded. If we don’t hear anything back regarding this matter we will be taking this further. Will not be coming...

Today the inept store manager decided to put someone called ‘Suman’ from GHR branch in at this store and she missed a drink of mine. Shameful considering I’m Leeds road most regular customer and the staff know that.
Another thing that was missed: I specified that I wanted extra crushed almonds & pistachio in both chais and the one that came had none in. ‘Suman’ must be spoken to and retrained until she can follow order notes properly.
I want both ‘Suman’ and the store manager to be fined £10 for their incompetence. There’s no excuse for not following order notes let alone messing up the order of a regular customer.
To make matters worse I went into the store after to take this up with ‘Suman’ and her behaviour was pathetic, I had photo evidence of the missing item and the receipt and she didn’t say sorry once and instead said ‘are you sure it wasn’t the driver’. Then she decided to tell me they ran out of the sugar free chai which I got a taxi and came all the way to get because she couldn’t fulfil her duty properly and pack all items ready for delivery! Leave her at GHR branch and do not bring her in for anymore shifts at the Leeds rd branch as she’s utterly incompetent. Read morePlaced an order via just eat. I ordered 2 large hot chocolates and 1 large Karak Chaii, paid extra 70p × 3 to make them large drinks. When delivery arrived, i realised none of the drinks were large, all regular. When i rang the leeds branch, the man insisted they are large when i knew they are regular and can tell the difference between a regular and a large. He wouldn't take responsibility, said its just eats fault when it isnt. He then asked if i can come into the branch on leeds road! when i had paid the delivery fee and made clear the payment had been taken and should they wish they can take it back but expected what i ordered to be redelivered to my address. The man said he will speak to the manager and get him to call back... No one called. I rang again and was given the same reply that the manager is busy but he will try to talk to him and call back in 10 minutes. Never recieved a call from the manager or the employee. Dont know how they think that...
