Love My Shawarma — Restaurant in Bradford

Went in on a whim as were passing it. Authentic Palestinian taste (though run by Kurds). Ver polite and helpful staff (Radwan & Ahmed). 4 diner-like booths to sit & eat in. Delicious taste, everything very fresh. Lamb doner unlike the paste-like stuff you get in most places - one can actually seen chunks of meat. Tried the lamb Shawarma with naans, chips, and chickpea soup - all freshly made. Excellent Middle Eastern style salad, vast and unmatched selection of sauces and condiments (including pomegranate molasses (!). Free parking. Seemed busy when we visited (last night, Friday). Even take card payment. A real hidden gem we shall highly recommend. Shall definitely visit again and again. Well done...

I ate here 2 weeks ago and ended up with food poisoning - looking back there were some obvious 🚩 1. There was a box of bovine shawarma on the shop floor the whole time I was there bear in mind there was a fan heater propped on a chair near by and another one under our feet next to the booth so it was quite warm 2. The friend I was with clearly saw a staff member adding raw chicken to the already cooked chicken shawarma on the rotating grill and 3. When I asked if the meat shawarma was lamb or beef he stated lamb despite the ‘bovine’ meat discussed earlier (obviously possible that they have both meats but probably unlikely also the menu states lamb) - anyway I won’t...

Where do I start from came to have some food normally void just sake of disable son came in , food was very basic like all other Kurdish refugees takeaway , shame and vicious lost my phone while having food asked and begged staff no one had decency to hand over spoke to owner few times he been promising INSHALLAH lying mocking religion two weeks chased him for cctv finally give up everyday he was willing to send me cctv video which never turned up , best of luck to staff and owner to divide haram money after selling my phone , if owner had some ethics and British principles would never let that happen end of day cant teach trash...
