The reason for a 1 Star

Staff all Long Faced whilst I was being seeved by Sue she was Texting on her Phone .....she couldnt Care less I had an allergy when she bought my food to supprise she wasnt Listening to me etc as the particular Allergen i stated when ordering was not to be present was on my Meal This is Unsatisfactory Service which could end up in my Body reacting Badly or ultimatly killing me.....

Was in the other Night when blonde bar staff bought food to two elderly ladies ....she asked forr her chips to be cooked more to my disgust she refused to even ask the kitchen her response was there ment to be like that.

We are paying Customers if it wasnt for us you would have no job and no Business ..3 pubs a day Close.

Certain staff members have right Attitude problems

Also the Butter with toast you advertise on your Brekfast isnt butter its a Cheap...

Lovely looking traditional pub with gorgeous ceiling and interior design. The only downfall was the food really. We ordered Cheeseburger and chips, which states on the menu it is a fresh steak burger, unfortunately it was far from fresh nor steak but a tinned burger with dry old salad leaves thrown on. Old onion and fresh chips but cooked in old, dirty oil 😞 We also ordered the Hot Roast beef sandwich and chips which again was old, rubbery microwave beef chucked in-between two slices of white bread, a crusty baguette would have been nice with nice hot Roast Beef and Onion Gravy. Then ordered the Steak and Ale pie which stated open pie which is fair enough but it was really a spoonful of beef stew with a bit of pastry chucked on top. By far the worst Steak and Ale Pie I've ever come across. Will not return unfortunately and could do so...

Really disappointing. Researched where to eat in the City centre as wanted a meal prior to a theatre visit. Food took half an hour to arrive (it wasn't that busy) leaving us 10 minutes to eat it. I ordered the Yorkshire Burrito which was tepid at best and served with watery veg and gravy made from granules (which hadn't been dissolved). The beef was a bit fatty and the onions were raw which seemed odd. My partner ordered a burger and chips which was also tepid at best. There were about 8 chips served in a mini bucket and the burger was underwhelming. We had to bolt the food at high speed, which I hate and rush off to the theatre. Won't be...
