Always some of the best pizza, pasta and garlic bread in Bradford. Great value for money, decent portion sizes and really authentic Italian food. Food has been consistently good having been coming here since around 2000.

A good selection of pizzas and pastas and is the sort of place that I make excuses to go over to Bradford just to visit.

The system of collecting your own pizza and pasta being brought to the table sometimes comes a bit unstuck when it's busy (we were more than half way through our pasta before our garlic bread and fries turned up and virtually finished before they were cool enough to eat).

The lack of condiments means you have to go hunting round the restaurant for the one salt dispenser and the ketchup is the cheapest nastiest catering type (pretty much red vinegar) would happily pay for a premium ketchup.

Staff are friendly and helpful and it's nice to always see the owner still working there which is probably where the authenticity of the food comes from.

I used to work in the city centre and would visit at least weekly and then when I went back to Bradford for Uni it was a regular lunchtime destination. It would have been five stars but on this occasion my Penne Carbonara was made in a four cheese sauce which was sickly and having sampled my daughter's Penne Tomato pasta that the food quality has slipped a little over the years.

I love Pizza Pieces and have been a customer for years. I just wanted to write this review as we had an issue with an order from Just Eat at lunchtime because of the driver, he could not find us so just decided not to deliver (Even though we have had many deliveries before with no issue) Turned off is location and everything. I rang the restaurant to get the drivers number, but as it was through Just Eat they had to refer me back to them. So I contacted Just Eat directly, someone eventually rang me, bearing in mind my order is now 30mins late. The driver had told just eat that we changed our address in the middle of the order !!!! A complete lie, I explained the situation and they said they'd investigate it. In the meantime gave me a refund. After I came of the phone the lovely Tony from Pizza Pieces had called me to check if i'd resolved me delivery issue, he could not apologise enough. This was not their fault, he organised my order again and I picked it up 10 minutes later. But I found out that when things like this happen the restaurant is charged, which is really unfair. We have drivers that just do not care. And obvioulsy the restaurant worries about their reputation, reviews are everything these days, and in such difficult times we should be supporting local businesses. First time coming here after hearing good things, and me and my family loved it. The restaurant's decor was beautiful — felt like stepping into the 70s or 80s. The staff were polite and helpful throughout. I ordered a full 16-inch pizza, half ham and mushroom, the other half vegetarian, along with 4 slices of garlic bread and chips. The only downside was the chips — a bit dry and lacking flavour.
