Ilkley Moor Vaults — Restaurant in Bradford

We held our wedding reception here last May and cannot recommend this venue highly enough. The food was, without a doubt, the best we've ever had at a wedding. The atmosphere was the perfect mix of relaxed and cosy that we wanted for our celebration.

The staff were exceptional—thoughtful and attentive throughout the night, and they went above and beyond to accommodate a variety of food allergies including my large family of coeliacs.

We were both so happy with the bespoke sharing menu, cocktails, canapés, and ice cream machine that we were able to create, all of which were freshly prepared and 10/10 delicious.

Jo made the process of booking entertainment and additional extras seamless. She was incredibly helpful with all of our requests and an absolute pleasure to work with - thank you everyone at the vaults for making the day so...

I would not come here again. Prices are literally nearly double what you play at similar pubs elsewhere (e.g.£10.50 for a medium glass of white wine, £25 for a veggie burger with chips and a side salad or vegetable) and the quality was indifferent, other than the chips, which were very good. Extremely limited choice for vegetarians. The burger was small and stodgy, and came with not so much as a parsley leaf. I ate it because I'd paid for it, not because it was worth eating. They'd run out of meat burgers for the kids on a Friday night. Service was not particularly friendly and an unfortunate mixture of inefficient with bringing the food (nearly an hour) and clearing drinks before you finish them. A difficult place to rate as it is almost 2 different pubs. We went around 5:30 on a Saturday.

Outside, lots of tables set amongst mature trees. A nice setting including cute bubble tents with sofas in. Great beer & friendly staff.

Inside: Very dark, dingy and uninviting. We ate in there, and the food was really good (including a very tasty vegetarian pie of the day) but we weren't tempted to stay & order dessert because of the atmosphere. It was completely empty, with the staff stood behind the bar with no other guests to serve.

This place had many of the ingredients to be fantastic, but we felt it needed to complete change the lighting & decor inside. Make it feel bright & airy and it would have made us...
