Claire Baxter Gallery — Attraction in Bradford

What a lovely gallery! I've come to Pateley Bridge many times over the last 20 years, but only discovered Claire's gallery a few years back in its old location. Claire Baxter does lovely artwork representing a slice-of-life for folks in God's Own Country. Her works of people and places show a wonderful depiction of life in Yorkshire and the love people share with each-other here. The new gallery does a splendid job of showing off Claire's works, and my wife and I had to be careful not to buy every piece we looked at - in fact, we're taking time figuring out where to put the next work that we buy from this gallery will go in our home. We will return again soon, and look forward to the new pieces Claire has done; it's also nice to see that some original works are for sale and not just framed prints. Great place,we purchased a print on line ,we have received 1,print already packaged great ,unfortunately there is a tiny chip on the black frame, I don't think it happened during delivery, because it was super safe protection. However I will touch up with a small indelible black pen, I'm sure if I contacted the supplier it would be replaced. But it's not something that will stop me enjoying the lovely pice of art work. My mum and I have had an amazing day today at the wreath workshop! We have had a lovely time. Everything was so relaxed but so well organised. We got to meet some lovely people too. I’m at home with my treasure which I’ve decided to give as a special present to my sister in law and the I have a reason to make another! I cannot wait to come back again!
