The girls sophie and chloe are very polite and actually make you feel welcome. They are always smiling!. I went to this mcondlads the other night and the manager who was working was very awkward and impolite. My mcflurry had no sauce in and she point blank refused to put the sauce in which now, has put me off getting a mcflurry from this mcdonalds again.... just so awkward, there is just no need for it at all... the staff was actually on egg shells when working around this particular manager.... but as I say, sophie and chloe are tip top. The staff in the kitchen need to read the orders properly, I live around the corner and literally every time I go to this mcdonalds they mess my burger up I ask for no cheese for my girlfriend and she gets cheese. I ask for extra cheese on my burger and get no cheese. The kitchen staff always mess my burger up. Again, sophie and chloe are good but the the majority of the other staff need to open there eyes abit more. When we came to the drive through microphone, they was all messing about and laughing, which I dont have a problem with but they must not have been concentrating and messed both meals up. So annoying. The girl on the microphone that night seemed very off and moody aswell. Every single time we come, something messes up and its got to the point where we take everything out of the bag to double check they have done it correctly, we dont really want to do this when we just want to get home and eat our dinner. My girlfriend HATES cheese, which means I then have to go back out, get in the car and drive back around to mcdonalds for them to sort it out, by which time my burger and fries have gone cold. My collection time was scheduled for 12:43 PM, but I did not receive my order, which was relatively small, until 1:00 PM. This wait time of approximately 20 minutes is unacceptable. During this period, the restaurant appeared to be significantly understaffed. It was apparent that the kitchen was struggling to keep up with demand, as only one employee seemed to be working in that area. I also observed the manager and several other staff members outside the premises, seemingly on a break, while the restaurant's operations were clearly suffering. The manager was eventually called back inside by the kitchen employee to assist. This situation led to a significant delay and a very inefficient service experience. Read moreMy experience of McDonald’s (Shipley) today was appalling!! I’ve lived in the area for over 25 years and never had an experience like this! I specifically asked for cheeseburgers without the gerkins and relish and my request was not taken into account, upon been severed I checked my cheeseburgers and they was not what I ordered... I politely said to the trainee there was a mistake and she politely replied she would “sort it out” I waited over 20 minuets for my order to be “sorted out” and heard nothing.... as I approached the trainee and politely asked for a refund she seeked advice from the the supervisor called Victoria, never have I spoke to a woman as rude as she was!! She basically said I should have waited by the counter while the rest of my food went cold until they rectified there mistake, I didn’t agree with that and as I left she was sniggering to other colleagues about what had happened! This experience will reflect on my custom towards there franchise!!!......
