My husband and I have been getting acropolis takeaways for the last 2-3 years and love them. Last night we decided to eat in for the first time. The restaurant is a lovely surprise with lofty ceilings, greek photos and music. The music was a tiny bit loud for me. We ate: Creamy mussels Halloumi Mixed grill platter for 2 Baklava The food was amazing. The creamy mussels were out of this world delicious. The platter was extraordinary. I love the baklava. We thought it was excellent value for money, in fact my husband thought they were undercharging for the platter. The chef had a bit of a chat with us on the way out which is always nice in my opinion. I've already recommended to others and we'll be back. If they decide to deliver to the Keighley area in future we'll be able to increase our takeaways! Thanks

Oh my god, the food here is amazing. The staff are all so kind and sweet, they gave me some cake for my birthday free of charge and played music and wished me a great day. A real sense of appreciation is felt here. I would also say to anyone who eats here come here on an empty stomach cause the portions are large and real good quality. I kid you not, if I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be the halloumi and hummus gyros, an absolute combination.... Get it with the sweet chilli sauce... You'll thank me later. Anyways thank you to lovely staff, you guys deserve it!

My partner and I ordered the mixed grill for two @ £45 It was much bigger than expected and was very tasty and well presented. There's a variety of meat cooked and prepared to perfection. It came with a tasty salad, 3 dips with a choice of chips, rice, or saute potatoes. The staff were very accommodating. The chef came to the table and asked how our food was. The music and setup of the restaurant felt very authentic. The parking was limited but free. Only minor point was the restaurant that was upstairs was a bit cold.

Absolutely awful experience. Just so that you understand why, I will explain.... Arrived at 7pm with a group of 10 having booked a table, which wasn’t ready but we were happy to wait. Starters order taken, then waited at least 40 mins for these to arrive, the starters were well prepared but not enough so... we ordered more staters and waited further. No one came to take our main course order until we asked for it to be taken. Then we waited.. and waited and watched while others who had come in after us were being served their main courses. It was about 9.30 when some of our food came to the table. Before anymore arrived, people had already eaten at our table and were then waiting for others to be served. More food was served in dribs and drabs with the orders incorrect.... which was corrected for some but not all. It was amusing to begin with but was anything but after 3 hours. We asked to see the boss/manager, who came and explained that things had gone wrong... staff etc..... he then said that people should pay whatever they felt was right for them. Some people in the group paid the full amount but I had not been happy with my food as it was incorrect and tasted dried out to the point I couldn’t tell if I had eaten chicken or lamb (I had ordered lamb). He apparently had no idea that we had been waiting. They had also been filling take away orders during this time too. I came to pay and was asked what I had eaten... I said what I had ordered but it was not what I had eaten, as I didn’t know what it was. I was happy to pay about 2/3 of the bill. The ‘boss’ got angry and told me not to bother paying anything... at this point i said that he had no right to be angry when we had suffered through an awful experience and he was making it worse now. At this point I left the restaurant The rest of the group paid £10 per head, about 50% of the bill and left. We left at 10.30pm.... 3.5 hours of a painful experience. The waiting staff were well mannered and maintained a sense of professionalism even while things were going badly wrong. They should have closed doors to further guests when they got behind or stopped take away orders. I visit many restaurants around the country, in fact, the world..... this will clearly not be visited again and will obviously not...

My wife and I with our 3 year old daughter, thought we would give this a try. 04.05.19 5:30pm

Firstly the Positives Nice Interior Really pleasant well mannered staff Food was kind of tasty (but not as good as other Greek restaurants we’ve tried) child friendly with a kids menu / massive portion Good variety of food options

Now for the Negatives service was slow and had to ask for things e.g. more cutlery after the first course as well as a few other things. our starters came to the table ,1 at a time (bear in mind, when we arrived there was only 2 other tables occupied). Roughly just short of 5 minutes between receiving each starter. My main course arrived first, about 5 mins later my wife’s, then another 10 mins later my 3 year old daughter’s. I’d asked the waitress to avoid any raw tomato on any of the plates as to save waste. I overlooked the tomato on my side salad for the start, but when my main came it looked like the chef had used about 3 tomato’s in 1 sandwich almost as if he was taking the Mick out of my request.

We had left a lot of food, which is unlike us because we love food. We didn’t wait around to be asked if we wanted the bill. We came downstairs to pay. We paid £50 and I honestly feel like I’ve wasted 2 hours of my time and money on a meal that we really didn’t enjoy.

I’m sorry but we will...

This restaurant offers very BAD value for money. They are deliberately serving the minimum amount of food possible. The food is tasty, but is a complete rip off when viewed against the price.

We have been twice. The first time our grype was the ridiculous amount of time it took to receive our food. This time, Sunday night, it was the portion size. The salad...which should be a greek salad????? was nothing more than shredded lettuce. Restaurant owner....what are you doing?????? Have you ever eaten in Greece????? My chicken skewers were the smallest skewers i have ever seen...and for £12.50???? 3 small meatballs for £6...with what.....again with what????? answer nothing!

Restaurant owner...when you eat at a restaurant...do you ever get fed up at the face you are being ripped off???????

For the people who have more money than sense....go here and drink your expensive BYO wine.

For the rest of us who cant eat out 7 nights a week, DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE!!! Spend £20 at your favourite supermarket...buy more food than you will ever eat in one sitting....and save yourself a lot ogf money.

We will never return to this restaurant despite greek food being...
