Mother Hubbard’s Flagship Store (Legrams Lane) — Restaurant in Bradford

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Fish & Chips with Amazing Service!

We recently visited Mother Hubbard’s on Lagram Lane, Bradford, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish!

The service was exceptional—the staff (Mr. Ifti, and muskaan and rest of the team) were warm, friendly, and genuinely went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They were attentive without being intrusive and made us feel truly welcomed.

The food was incredible! The fish was cooked to perfection—crispy, golden batter with tender, flaky fish inside. The chips were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and piping hot. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and everything tasted fresh and delicious.

The atmosphere was just as great—clean, cozy, and welcoming. It had a relaxed vibe, perfect for enjoying a great meal with family or friends. The restaurant was spotless, and even during busy times, everything was well-organized.

Ordered several meals via Uber eats. Delivery was on time however one of the meals I ordered was pie and chips and the chips were missing. Called the store and was asked to come and collect it which isn’t an option as no access to a car at the moment. I was told that next time I order they will give me the chips as an extra as they have “trainees on today and they’ve made several mistakes!” Well if that’s the case surely someone should be checking them I would’ve thought. It’s disgusting I paid for my meal to eat today not in a months time as I don’t get take outs often so not acceptable. To top it off the girl I was speaking to put me on hold and then cut me off when I told her that I pad for my meal for today not next month. Unfortunately I voted for these muppets last year and I won’t be ordering again. Instead of cutting people off that are looking for a resolution maybe check the orders before they’re sent out if you have trainees working or maybe that’s just an excuse. You’ve lost a regular customer!!!!!...

Order 6 iftars boxes. Girls over the phone was very polite It’s was 559 when I placed my order was asked by her any pacific time yull like your order or wud u like it staight away. I clearly said staight away so I don’t get stuck in the iftar rush. She said that’s fine come it will be ready in 20 to 25 mins guess whatttt it’s 7.32. And we still NOT got our FOOD. Sorry to say there wudnt even pick up the phone. To tell us. Sorry it’s Gona be late. It’s really spoilt the whole experience.

Ok. Now the add on. Got my order. At. 740. Was excited. To my luck All order was wrong. Ask for Four spicy chicken sandwiches and two firey fish sandwiches. Guess watttt got. 4. Fish sandwich and TWO. Chicken. Asked for NO. Gravy. Guess whattttttt. Got Two tubs of gravy All food was dry. And LUKE warm the chips were like Rubber. Really sorry guys. NOT HAPPY. 2NITE.
