Moodys Bradford — Restaurant in Bradford

Had guests visiting and was due to drop them to the interchange for a train at 2:30pm. Ordered food on ubereats which was supposed to be delivered at around 1:50pm. This then got pushed to 2pm, 2:10pm, 2:15pm and then 2:17pm.

Called the takeaway at 1:50ish die to the delays and whilst on the phone, he told me the driver was there and he was just heading out of the door.

Strange because id checked this on the uber app and messaged the driver to check status and he confirmed that he was waiting for the takeaway as the order was not ready.

Finally, arrived at 2:17pm. The drinks were missing from 4 meals. Asked the driver. He said “well this is all theyve given me” and ran off to his car without any further discussion.

Called moodys, guy on the phone was so argumentative, it was like he was doing me a favour by letting me order from them. He blamed it on the driver. Said he had taken my drinks and i could either 1) speak to uber -theyre useless anyway 2) Come in and pick up my drinks with a “free” portion of fries (lucky me as these were cold soggy and tasteless anyway) because obviously id just paid extortionate uber prices and service charge and delivery costs for the free laughs hadnt i?! or 3) place another order tomorrow and they would also send my drinks - because im going to post drinks to my guests the next day and obviously pay the uber fees and charges all over again arent i?!

No such thing as customer services or knowing how to treat people that will be keeping your business afloat.

Ps. Hot chick burger may have been pretty close to a pass had i not have been feeling sicj due to the nasty taste Moodys had left in my mouth. BUT, dont be fooled, a “beef patty” is a processed cheeseburger patty, even thiugg the photos on the menu show something else.

I saw this new place so decided to take a chance.

The restaurant is nice and new, with lots of space. The staff are border line friendly.

I was ordering for 3 adults. I ordered Hot Chick signature burger, a Moodster signature burger (with medium sauce) and a wrap meal.

The burgers where a decent size. I opened the moodster and was faced with a large grey looking "meat" patty and a piece of yellow chicken breast. The Brioche bun tasted odly salty, the chicken tasted more of salt than a medium spice and the meat patty..Well I am sat here questioning if it was meat. It was chewy and had a odd texture, almost as if it was loaded with fat as a binding agent.

I tasted the hot chicken and found that too salty too.

I can't really comment about the wrap. The chips where stupidly salty, to the point they got binned.

The coke, was a on tap cup that tasted like cola.

The only thing this place left me was Moody (my burger got binned and I went out for food else where). Waking up this morning even my stomach feels Moody.

Would i go back? -...

I have been to this establishment on 2 occasions, the first i had to wait 30 minutes due to a fault in uber’s system and uber were useless, the employee helped me and let me order my food and provided good customer service I had ordered the quarter pounder and it was honestly really tasty. Today as of 18/4/23 I ordered the munchbox and wow was I suprised. The quarter pounder was tasty as usual- the fries were amazing- the tenders and wings oh my! They were enormous and the fillet burger suprised me as not many places in bradford do a spicy dipped burger and the burger was soft and you could taste the individual flavoursdem as the spice wasnt overpowering. The star of the show had to be the naga donner which suprised me I have had naga products multiple times and hated the taste and this donner was beautiful, the naga was not overpowering and i could only imagine how it would taste on its own as the flavoursdem were there. Overall I would give this place a solid 4.8/5 as its all about the food and I haven't been let...
