Mother Hubbard’s Leeds Road — Restaurant in Bradford

Please read too the Bottom!!!!!! This is Serious!!!!!! Just so you know I’m NOT lying. I’ve kept my receipt... On the 29th June 2019. Order number 96, Time of order, 4.59pm. I ordered my Usual cheese pie and chips, Which came really quick. I thought that was Fast.... anyway that’s because my Cheese pie was UNCOOKED..... it was still Frozen. Just out the fridge, Straight onto my cardboard box With hot chips..... When I complained too the girl on the till, Her name was JEMMA, She wasn’t interested. She said it’s her home time now, It’s 5pm. She told me. Somebody else will have to deal with your complaint she said. Anyway she got her jacket and left me stood there.. When I asked for a Cooked cheese pie the bloke who works in the back said there’s None left. I wasn’t offered a refund or apology. I’m a weekly customer. But because of these 2 members of Staff, I won’t be returning. The girl JEMMA on the Till was more interested in her mobile phone and complaining too her colleague that she was annoyed working today. Because it’s a heatwave outside. So everybody, avoid. Until it’s under new management. For your own...

Was in Bradford with Family as doing some shopping, went into Mother Hubbards and was a little disappointed to be honest.

Start of establishment was very clean and very welcoming. 5*

Ordered one large & two regular fish and chips, one kids nuggets and chips, one curry sauce, three sauce sachets, four drinks. Order came to near £40.00.

The food came within 10 minutes are just over, service was with a smile 5*

The issue was the chips in the large portion were lukewarm and not really hot, also on two occasions I bit into raw potatoes (chips), I didn't raise my concerns at the time as people were in the restaurant i am not doing this on this app to put the place down, it may have been an error on Mother Hubbards chefs part and did not realise but a little more care needs to be taken, with the chips being lukewarm on the large portion it does suggest that these chips were already cooked prior to my order and given to me.

Would I go back to the establishment if in town may I would but I would try others first before going back in unfortunately the experience on this occasion was not great with...

WENT BACK TODAY. WOW WHAT SERVICE WHEN I TOLD THEM ABOUT MY DESERT. GIRL BEHIND COUNTER DESERVES A MEDAL FOR HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. WHIPPED UP TWO MORE DESERTS NO QUESTIONS ASKEDD AND NO CHARGE. MANAGEMENT NEED A BIG PAT ON THE BACK FOR THE REQUIREMENT SKILLS AS THE STAFF HERE ARE BANG ON. I HAVE TO SAY AMAZING. THANK YOU I would like to start by stating that for Fish and Chips this is the best by a mile. I go literally twice a week and a big order for the family on Friday. However i must express my disappointment in the deserts that they have started doing. I gotvtwo cornflake tarts and an apple crumble. Here is a picture of the apple crumble. Literally dryer than Ghandis flip flop and hardly no custard. And I mean none.
