This review is in no way a complaint. It is actually a suggestion or an honest advice from a very regular costumer who would come in everyday just for the owner to improve the cafe, as it is an amazing cafe, except the problems i would list. This is just to inform you that i have not received a very good service at the cafe. I would go in everyday in the evening and take the same order, caramel karak chai and a cake. Most of the time, the chai would be cold. Or else it would be extremely hot. On telling the staff that the chai is cold, they would put it in the microwave which would make it worse. Moreover, the orders have not been considered. I would call and place the order atleast 20 minutes before going, so that i don’t let the taxi waiting. But they would start preparing the order when i would go in the cafe and inform them. Moreover, the music can sometimes get a bit too loud. Too loud to not even be able to hear the other person. These are some of the problems i faced. I would still give the cafe a few more chances and see if the service improves , if not, i will stop.

To whoever reads this, This is a suggestion more then a complaint. Hope it helps you make an amazing cafe...

Took Mrs for a Breakfast this morning, and must say it was a splendid surprise. Mrs had the Full English breakfast with an additional prantha and I had the Desi Breky. We both thoroughly enjoyed it, the Sausages we're nice and spicy and the eggs were good perfectly. My Channa was very nice and tasty (although would have liked abit more to finish my pranthas with) but the Halwa is a delight, defiantly ONE of the best in Bradford! However the pranthas where pre-made, but most of the Chai places do use the pre-made stuff so was expected (although would always prefer fresh pranthas). We both really enjoyed the Karak Chai tho, it was proper silky and smooth and wasn't bitter or overly sweet like you find in some places. We was gonna have a second cup as it was really lovely but didn't want to over do it. The price was on point and very reasonable at just under seven quid for a full English including tea and under 6 quid for a desi breakfast including tea, and that eating in. The Service was very good and very professional and atmosphere was delightfully nice.

Defiantly well worth a visit! Mrs has added it to our regular breakfast joints when we're ever...

Great setting, there is customer service - splendid setting (colonial theme, pastel colours 😍); staff are polite and to the point, smartly dressed (ladies with colour coordinated hijabs and uniforms 👍) - staff could give more of that Bradford animated hospitality which I know they’ve got in them

Awesome food, and more - I always go for the desi breakfast (daal, omelette, paranta and karak chai); all amazing presentation and quality; light and filling, the chai is a fitting finale to a proper desi breakfast; all served in good time (faster than I expected); and someone always available to check if you require anything

Family friendly - good variety of foods for kids too, reasonably priced in my opinion

Prayer room facilities - for those inclined that way, great facilities are available; and of course plenty of mosques near by too

There is parking - street parking available, safe providing you...

Had a breakfast date with a friend today, so we decided to pop into Mi Chaii on Leeds Road, Bradford. We both ordered the same, halva, channa and paratha with Kashmiri pink tea. Heres what I thought of the food: -channa: tasty, spiced well, could do with a pinch more salt for my liking, not too greasy. -halva: this was really pleasant and not overly sweet -paratha: disappointing. Got given two but you could tell they were the frozen kind. Not the authentic homemade style you look forward to. They were very hard to tare and chew too. -kashmiri pink tea: Way too sweet. Thought it might just be me because I don’t normally drink sugar in my tea (there was no sugar free option) but my friend thought the same. We actually wanted halva puri but there was no option for puris on the menu so we had to go for the parathas. Decor and seating was nice but probably wouldn’t go again as food was pretty average.

Attended here with my husband. I have been to the other branch before which was great too first time here Food is cooked really well Desi breakfast - the omelette is a very decent size I imagine at least two eggs have been used to make this ! Halwa was like made from home not oiley good balance. All the breakfasts come with either karak chai or pink tea which j think is a bargain to be honest. I have had similar food elsewhere where you have to buy the tea sep and also only comes with one parantha. The parantha that they use here appear to be made by themselves lovely and flakey almost like a lacha parantha for those who know and you get two! Not some frozen shaana parantha overal 10/10 server was lovely. We asked for tap water and gave us a bottled one free of charge really cannot complain lovely branch :) Promt service polite and good delivery

Tried the desi breakfast on leeds road branch, I have been here before an must add the safron chais r on point. The spicy omelette was fully loaded cheese an onions and was decent but i hated the raw chillis jus slammed in it. The parathas are the shana paratha frozen ones u buy from asian cash an carrys not the authentic fresh paratha homemade style which was extremely dissapointing. The chanas were nice but not going to lie wasnt as good as ive had elsewhere like mughals. All together will definately not get the desi breakfast again from here maybe the english breakie needs to be tried instead. On a plus note the place is lovely an well seated an clean with friendly staff.
